Mop, brush or spread paints or bituminous compounds over surfaces for protection. Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint or stucco through hose to clean, coat or seal surfaces. Grind, sand or polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines. Demolish buildings, saw lumber, dismantle forms, remove objects from concrete, mount hangars and cut and attach insulating material. Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy. Follow oral and written directions. Work within company policies (including Safety and Human Resources policies), client policy and OSHA safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed. Qualifications: At least 6-months experience as a Helper level construction worker in particular trade for entry level helper At least 2-years experience as a Helper level construction worker in particular trade for a top level helper Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements. Physical/Site Requirements: Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds. Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age. Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions. Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. Work at heights with fall protection, work from manlifts, baskets, JLG's etc. PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required.
