The CNC Lathe Operator will be responsible for finish machining parts by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining all quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment/supplies. This position will be responsible for measuring parts with specified measurement tools, learning work processes, part specifications, and completing change overs for new work orders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Reading blueprints, specifications, and drawings while performing new setup
Setting up various machines including tools changes and offsets, compensation, and conditional switches
Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces while adhering to standards
Maintaining specifications by observing and taking measurements
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening, and replacing worn tools
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Documenting actions by completing production and quality logs
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publication, etc.
Communicating status of work orders and irregularities to management team
Explore opportunities to increase productivity in work area
Required Skills/Abilities:
Understanding work order, blueprints, control plans, materials, specifications, drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, critical surfaces/edges, and machining parameters while interpreting geometric dimension and tolerances (GD&T)
Understanding work instructions ad zero/reference points
Understanding of basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
Positive and proactive attitude toward completing work orders
Willingness to learn and grow through Sun Hydraulics
Meeting commitments and obligations
Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED required
Technical college degree preferred
3 - 7+ years' experience using CNC Lathe machines is ideal
Experience with tool changes and set ups
Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus
Experience with Citizen, Swiss, Miyano, or Mazak lathes is ideal
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $100,000 - $175,000. Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

This position will be responsible for the accounts payable functions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. This is an onsite position within the Helios Hydraulics of Americas (HHAM) finance team, at the Sun Hydraulics Sarasota campus. This is a hands-on position which covers and includes multi-company accounts payable.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Facilitates vendor payments, including verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
Reviews and evaluates payment registers to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process
Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
Support internal and external audit requirements
Other related duties as assigned
Verifies vendor and customer credit limits, balancing coordination with other sites.
Understand and adhere to all internal control processes and responsibilities.
