AI Justice is seeking a full-time Litigation Program Paralegal & Community Advocate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, an eye for details, and a demonstrated commitment to fighting for immigrants' rights. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role supporting our work fighting cases in federal courts throughout the country and coordinating community education and advocacy campaigns. Key responsibilities include:
Assist attorneys in daily case management tasks, including updating and maintaining case information into online databases.
Assist with research and with the preparation of court filings and government/agency requests.
Conduct initial interviews with prospective clients; conduct client interviews and assist in drafting client declarations.
Provide general administrative support (processing mail, faxing, copying, answering phones, scheduling).
Monitor deadlines and calendar court hearings.
Assist in coordinating the Rapid Response Network (RRN) throughout Florida. The RRN seeks to unite FL legal services providers, community groups, and impact litigators in a network that will prepare communities to respond to immigration raids, roundups, mass deportations, and the entanglement of local and federal law enforcement, including through the provision of general Know Your Rights Trainings for engaging with law enforcement; Family Safety and Preparedness Trainings; and ICE Raids KYR Trainings for specific scenarios. The RRN seeks to provide immediate legal defense, strategic litigation, and will forge further partnership with community organizers and mutual aid groups on advocacy and meeting the needs of immigrant communities put at risk by a mass deportation policy.
Represent AI Justice in coalition meetings and community events; support coalition work, including community outreach, organizing, and general administrative support.
Assist in the preparation and dissemination of community education materials.
Represent AI Justice in working group meetings, stakeholder meetings with immigration agencies, coalition partners, and the community-at-large.
Support and develop partnerships with local, regional, and national partners.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Litigation Team.
Qualifications:
Experience in immigration law and advocacy preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple attorneys and staff members; comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values giving and receiving feedback.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Salary & Benefits:

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Health Educator to support the Vida Study as part of Dr. Heather Greenlee's research portfolio. This project will test a remotely delivered, patient-centered 12-month online weight loss program among a geographically diverse group of Latina breast cancer survivors in Washington and California.
The Bilingual Health Educator will lead culturally-tailored classes to promote weight loss in Latina breast cancer survivors. The classes are based on an adapted Diabetes Prevention Program curriculum. All sessions will be held virtually online in Spanish or English. Strong skills in communication, organization, and delivering effective health education courses are required, as well as complete fluency in English and Spanish.
This position is hourly with anticipated variable hours of 0-8 hours per week, depending on the curriculum schedule.

Responsibilities

Attend team meetings and report on progress and problem areas which arise.

Bachelor's degree with major study in public health, community health education, or closely allied field and two years of related professional experience, OR Bachelor's degree with at least four years of professional experience in public health, disease prevention, and/or health promotion.

Coaches will spend 6-7 hours a day (completing about 2.5 calls per hour) on the phone talking, chatting, or texting with participants in the Quit for Life Program both inbound and outbound.
Adapt telephonic/chat coaching and education methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each client.

Prior work experience in direct behavior change education and/or behavior change services, coaching/counseling, chemical dependency counseling or health education.

The Role
You will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the overall brand social strategy that acts as a vehicle to grow, support, engage, and strengthen the relationship between Love, Bonito, and our customers and the greater community of women, all over the world. You will deep-dive into our Social Media pillar and function as a full member of the team to achieve business objectives through your daily responsibilities and your team-specific projects.
Main Responsibilities
Brainstorm, manage, and develop the content schedule, briefs, and assets for social channels
Support in timely content delivery, scheduling, and postings
Write creative copy with compelling calls to action to generate traffic and conversions
Support with social reports, insights, and payment to partners/vendors/creators
Participate in brainstorming sessions/discussion within the team on how to improve in the delivery of content on all social platforms
Assist in market research and competitor analysis
Administrative support and daily upkeep of internal trackers, calendars, and influencer lists
Manage timelines and prompt follow-ups with influencers for various campaigns
Work closely with the team to plan, support and execute events
Conduct media monitoring for brand coverage across various channels including digital, social media, and online forums
Content Production
Develop a solid understanding of the Love, Bonito's brand, our vision and our target audience
Support in developing content for social channels (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok)
Stay on top of trending videos and sounds on TikTok and adapt them quickly for Love, Bonito's channel
Create a sound library that might be applicable for future Instagram Reels and TikTok videos
Participate in content creation discussion for social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
Support in the daily maintenance and administrative upkeep of team assets
Community
Source and manage UGC database
Close tracking of campaign and BAU seeding performance to KOLs
Monitor for competitor and industry news, including potential issues that could impact the business
Work closely with other functional teams to troubleshoot or expedite KOLs orders
Provide community support to the Social Media Team - monitoring and responding to comments, questions, and DMs on the respective social media channel
Requirements
Ability to adapt quickly and respond to social media trends in a timely manner
Well-versed in content creation for Social Media channels like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest
Quick thinking and problem-solving attitude in tackling obstacles that may compromise workflow, capacity, and/or quality
Strong video content production skills
A good eye for balance and composition
Able to adapt to an ever-changing and dynamic environment with professionalism, positivity, and flexibility under pressure
Prior experience in social media content creation (especially TikTok) for lifestyle and fashion brands a plus
Must be based in New York. This is a remote position but requires meeting up at least once a week for content creation etc
