The CDL Shuttle Driver, under the general supervision of the Shuttle Supervisor, provides safe and courteous and on-time transportation to resort guests and staff to and from fixed shuttle stops both on resort and off, during a scheduled shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
Must be able to communicate by radio and/or cell telephone.
Must be able to provide verbal and/or written reports and respond to operational issues per prescribed policy.
Must have a clean driving record and a valid Vermont Commercial Driver License, Class C with a Passenger Endorsement.
Drivers are subject to random DOT drug and alcohol testing and must have a valid license and DOT medical examiners card at the time of hire.
Must undergo and successfully pass an annual DOT medical examination.
Must be able to perform pre-and-post-trip vehicle inspections, cleaning and servicing to assist in maintaining vehicles in a safe operating condition.
Must be able to follow an on demand schedule of pick-ups and drop-offs on resort as well as at transportation hubs and terminals.
Must follow a schedule of pick-ups and drop-offs at on resort designated stops as well as all guest hotel, condominium, town home or cottage locations as well as off resort locations designated for employee pick-up and drop off.
Must adhere to traffic regulations, collect fares and provide verbal information to the public regarding routes, schedules and transfer points.
Must be willing to greet every customer in a friendly, professional manner.
Must have or be willing to develop a working knowledge of the history and amenities Jay Peak Resort and regional points of interest in the US and Canada.
Must be flexible with work shifts/hours, including overtime, to service late departs and arrivals, peak volume periods, vacated shifts, and other emergency situations.
Must follow all Jay Peak, Inc. work rules and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook and through management's instruction.
Must be willing to listen to customer complaints and direct information to the Shuttle Supervisor.
Must provide, maintain and ensure complete customer service for the all guests and staff members utilizing the service.
May be asked to perform any additional duties and special tasks as assigned
In the absence of the Shuttle Supervisor, all drivers report to the Security Supervisor on duty.

Qualifications

Responsible for providing mail services to the university through physical distribution and customer service. Assists in all areas of university mail service including but not limited to transporting, sorting, and posting incoming mail, cash handling, and metering of outgoing mail. Must have the ability to work remotely at the request of the university in times of inclement weather or other special circumstances.
Responsibilities:
Delivering mail to all buildings and university departments on campus.
Picking up and delivering all incoming and outgoing mail from the Stephenville Post Office including loading and unloading of mailbags and cartons.
Providing exemplary customer service to students, faculty, staff, and the general public through the mail services counter.
Handling cash such as selling stamps and money orders.
Metering all outgoing departmental mail, checking mail for weight classification, and setting meter machine for proper postage.
Assist with calculating rates and preparing documents for packages and special mailings, answer rate and zip code inquiries for customers, assign and collect for P.O. Box rentals, post notices in boxes for special mail or packages, and monitor to assure timely delivery.
Preparing forms required by the Federal Postal Service, securely depositing funds each day, and reconciling meter readings for departmental charges and allocations.
Checking mail that arrived as miss-addressed or with no box numbers, re-address, and post in the appropriate box. Identifying forwarding addresses and re-address to ensure accurate delivery.
Acts as a representative of Campus Operations and as a valued member of TSU as part of the A&M system and performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school graduation (or GED) or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Two years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Familiarity with mail routes, bulk mail, and meter room operations including postage computer and registered and insured mail is preferred but not required.
Ability to multitask and work independently and efficiently.
Self-starter, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under general supervision.
Ability to work constructively and cooperatively with people from various educational backgrounds, disciplines, and professions.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Ability to be an accountable, responsible, and dependable member of the Campus Operations team.

The Delivery Specialist (DS) is responsible for servicing customers based on their orders, by delivering tires to existing customers that are not readily/easily serviced from TireHub Logistics Centers (TLCs). As the Shuttle Driver you will be providing safe, timely, and courteous service and transportation to Hawkeye students and staff to and from the Main Campus, Adult Learning Center, Downtown Waterloo, Hawkeye Towers, and other authorized locations within the city of Waterloo.

Essential Job Functions
Important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Provides safe, customer friendly transportation to off campus shuttle lots, the downtown area, shopping centers and a variety of other locations within the city of Waterloo.
* Provides information regarding vehicle maintenance to the Campus Facilities office.
* Ensures vehicles are in a safe working condition prior to each operation. Any problems should be reported immediately to the Campus Facilities office.
* Provides assistance to riders when necessary.
* Refuels the vehicle when needed to ensure the next shift will be able to operate without time delay.
* Clears debris from the shuttle and returns personal items left in the vehicle to Public Safety at the end of each shift.
* Reports all accidents that the shuttle is involved in.
* Unless otherwise approved under Hawkeye's remote work policy, regular on campus and/or onsite attendance is considered an essential function of the position.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

* Must have an unexpired/valid CDL license with a passenger endorsement
