The Harvest Tech will support the cultivation department by executing all daily tasks involved in the harvest process. This individual will work on the floor, performing all tasks assigned by the Harvest Supervisor / Harvest Lead.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Cutting down plants, weighing plants, and recording critical harvest information.
Post-harvest cleaning of grow-rooms.
Adhere to company standards regarding handling of plant material.
Assist with pre-harvest defoliation of plants.
Assist in maintaining appropriate supply levels.
Identify issues that arise and communicate to Harvest Lead.
Keep a strong focus on cleanliness and contamination prevention.
Inspect harvested material and identify potential issues (pests, mold, etc.)
All other duties assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Works well with others.
Strong attention to detail.
Possesses an understanding of cannabis pests and diseases.
Possess a significant understanding of all cultivation processes and tasks.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Basic computer skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks

The Opportunity The AIR Practice Group's advocacy focuses on keeping families together, empowering vulnerable populations, such as crime survivors and unaccompanied children, and building a stronger community for agricultural workers, immigrants, and refugees throughout Ohio. We address racial and ethnic profiling, champion farmworker rights, and address housing, workplace safety, and employment violations. We secure language access and access to public benefits and education and address due process violations in administrative proceedings. We provide direct representation to clients applying for humanitarian relief before USCIS, EOIR, and in federal court, and host pro se clinics to advise and provide limited representation for clients in a number of immigration matters. As an unrestricted legal services organization, ABLE also advocates for changes in local, state, and federal policies and laws to achieve justice for immigrants and refugees. ABLE engages client communities and stakeholders to amplify our advocacy efforts and center impacted voices.
The Supervising Attorney will:
•Assist the Managing attorney in supervising team members and legal work within the practice group including overseeing teamwork, systems, and processes that advance organizational goals; managing impact and growing team members' skills; directly supervising members of the team including directing individual work plans and conducting case and performance reviews.
•Take an active role in working towards achieving racial equity in our advocacy and creating an environment that has a diverse and inclusive culture.
•Work with practice group members and the Managing Attorney to develop and drive a comprehensive legal strategy designed to have a lasting impact on and create equity and justice for agricultural worker and immigrant rights through a combination of community outreach, impact litigation, policy advocacy, legal clinics, and individual representation.
•Engage in public education and communications, which may include representing ABLE in public settings including public speaking engagements, conferences, media appearances, blog posts, op-eds, conferences, and media interviews.
•Undertake projects in the following areas in addition to their primary roles of supervising legal work and representing clients: community relations, and office administration and oversight.
•Manage certain aspects of grant writing and grant reporting to funders supporting the practice group's work, including grant and contract drafting, implementation, compliance, and reporting.
•Promote the improvement and effectiveness of the program and implemented initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications:
•Licensed attorney who is admitted to the Ohio Bar or able to be admitted by motion or passage of the next available bar examination
•Minimum of five (5) years of legal experience preferred
•Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is required, as well as experience working with interpreters
•Litigation and immigration legal experience required, particularly in removal proceedings and humanitarian forms of relief
•Knowledge of agricultural worker legal rights preferred

Job Summary
The Post Harvest Technician performs manual labor to assist in the processing of cannabis, including, but not limited to hanging, bucking, drying, destemming, and trimming. The role maintains a sanitary and organized inventory of product depends upon the detail and thoughtfulness s/he exhibits in this position primarily the ability effectively compartmentalizes strains, batches, and corresponding numeric values to reduce any confusion or mislabeling.
Duties and Responsibilities
Carrying out all procedures and performing all duties in an efficient manner that also complies with, industry regulations, OSHA regulations, Ayr Wellness's SOP's and all applicable procedures.
Be willing and able to be cross-trained on and working alongside the remainder of Ayr Wellness's team with the harvest, drying, trimming, weighing, processing, filling, packaging and any other tasks associated with Ayr Wellness's broad cannabis product line as needed.
Ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures.
Following appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of dissimilar production components while following Good Manufacturing Practices.
Performing in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed Ayr Wellness's specifications and patients' expectations. Such quality assurance work shall include but not be limited to:
Recording and monitoring processing conditions to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures.
Proper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking throughout process.
Monitoring and managing processing equipment supplies and inventory.
Monitoring/Maintenance of HVAC systems that control drying operations, including dry steam applications; monitoring temperature and humidity
Experience operating/maintaining high powered electric driven machinery.
Processing of cannabis inflorescence in preparation of extraction.
Ability to perform Loss on Drying to determine the water content in a flower
Perform daily balance checks and calibrations, and confidently calculate Tare-Weight Gross-Weight.
Be willing and able to train future new team members as necessary.
