Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to prioritize and complete tasks. Communicate repair progress and issues to management and other stakeholders. Qualifications A high school diploma or GED, technical training, or certification in railcar repair or a related field is preferred. Must be willing to travel to the following States: FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, OH, PA, TN, MS, and SC. Must be able to work the following schedule: ten days on / four days off. ASCTD (Automated Single Car Test Device) Certified Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and mechanical repair. Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., Association of American Railroads (AAR) standards). Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and operate in varying weather conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Prior experience in railcar maintenance or a similar mechanical role. Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
