Specific Responsibilities:
Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home.
Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced.
Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required.
Job Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
Valid Driver's License with clean record
Must be at least 18 years of age
Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis with assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.

PURPOSE: Under the supervision of the Lead Worker, performs duties such as painting, floor treatment, handyman work, hanging artifacts on walls, unclogging toilet, replacing faucets, repairing window closers, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Physical dexterity, especially eye-hand coordination, and finger dexterity. Must be able to follow directions, pick up and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and handle. Must be able to make repairs and to listen to sounds to test performance and use hand tools. Performs custodial duties as needed. Must have reading and writing capability. Must have a valid driver's license, clear driving record, and reliable transportation. Must be able to perform basic math calculations and convert measurements. Must be able to communicate well and follow written and verbal instructions. Must be sensitive to the needs and/or problems of people with disabilities.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: Must have 1 year experience in handy work and technical expertise. High school diploma or it's equivalent preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Applicants are subject to assignment of various duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor
2. It shall be the duty of the summer employee to follow standard procedures in making repairs and operating equipment.
3. Report to the maintenance supervisor any defects discovered while working on the projects
4. Keep his/her work area clean, safe, and sanitary for all individuals to work in
5. Follow safety procedures for the job being performed
6. Wear and use safety equipment appropriate to the job assignment
7. Maintain positive work habits
