This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Major Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and infrastructure. Handle basic plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures. Assist with electrical work such as changing light fixtures, troubleshooting issues, and minor wiring repairs. Conduct carpentry work, including minor framing, drywall repairs, and furniture assembly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including waste disposal and basic janitorial duties. Support equipment upkeep and minor mechanical repairs as needed. Respond to maintenance requests promptly and ensure timely resolution. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies. Be flexible with schedule changes and work overtime when required. Required Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a similar role. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and mechanical repairs. Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs efficiently. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks. Flexible with scheduling changes and available for overtime as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a related field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and mechanical repairs. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
