Nursing Care Functions:
Conduct the daily nursing functions in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility/assisted living communities.

Participate in the orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.

Complete daily clinical and environmental rounds to evaluate resident care being provided and report significant events.

Participate in facility surveys (inspections) as requested by management.
May be responsible for clinical programs as directed, e.g., dementia, wound care, quality assurance, infection control, admissions.
Complete an initial assessment and assist or develop interim care plan/service plans.
Update, review, and transcribe the care plan that identifies the goals, problems, approaches, and revisions based on nursing needs and new health care provider orders.
Assist with service plans as directed by the Director of Nursing.
Communicate with health care provider to review treatment plans, complete orders, progress notes, etc., in accordance with established policies.
Review the resident's medical record for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, labs etc., as for implementation and follow up.
Requisition and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services, as ordered by the health care provider, and in accordance with our established procedures.
Communicate the department's policies and procedures to personnel, residents, and visitors.
Communicate with written (24-hour report) and oral reports/recommendations concerning any changes in resident condition and other activities of your shift to nursing management.
Fill out and complete accident/incident reports involving residents and submit to Director of Nursing.
Complete assessments and all other medical record documentation as required to provide care services.
Provide resident and family information for care conferences or other meetings.
Report all discrepancies noted concerning physician's orders, diet change, charting error, etc., to the supervisor.
Complete clinically accurate documentation according to policy.
Review the resident medical documentation and progress notes from the interdisciplinary team to determine if the care plan/service plans are being followed. Report any concerns to your supervisor.
Inform nursing personnel of new admissions and the resident's care needs. Ensure that rooms are ready for new admissions. Greet newly admitted residents upon admission.
Notify the resident's attending health care practitioner and family when there is a change in the resident's condition.
Assist in arranging transportation for residents and other third-party services.
Medication Administration Functions:
Prepare and administer medications ordered by the health care provider.
Ensure that an adequate supply of floor stock medications, supplies, and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of the residents. Report needs to the supervisor.
Review medication administration record for completeness of information, accuracy in the transcription of the health care provider's order. Report concerns to your supervisor.
Dispose of drugs and narcotics as required, and in accordance with established procedures.
Personnel Functions:
Supervise your nursing unit to ensure that all personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
Work with the Director of Nursing to resolve staff performance issues including those that may lead to termination.
Review complaints and grievances, and work with the Director of Nursing for a plan of action and resolution.
Safety and Sanitation Functions:
Assure and make available protective equipment for staff.
Maintain nursing service work areas (i.e., nurses' stations, medicine preparation rooms, etc.), resident rooms, and treatment areas in a clean and sanitary manner.
Recommend to the Director of Nursing the equipment and supply needs of the nursing department. Ensure that a stock level of medications, medical supplies, equipment, etc., is maintained on the premise at all times to adequately meet the needs of the residents.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Critical Skills:
Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
Deal tactfully with personnel, prospects, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.

Education and Experience:
Experience in post ortho surgery, post stroke, transitional care, progressive care, post-acute, and/or sub-acute
Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in applicable state, in good standing throughout employment with no disciplinary action in effect against professional license.
Prefer one year of experience in nursing in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position requires the Registered Nurse (RN) to ensure resident care is provided per standards of practice following policies and procedures of the facility by CNAs/Caregivers but the CNAs/Caregivers do not directly report to them.

Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
Carrying
Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves.
Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store.
Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray.
During delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties.
Pushing
To move trays which are placed on dollies.
A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24" - 30" and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.
Trays may also be pulled.
Climbing
Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
During delivery of product, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.
Stooping/Bending
Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station.
Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station.
Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day.
Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.
Crouching/Squatting
Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
Reaching
Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward.

Talents, skills, and abilities:
A BS/BA Degree in a social work related field; and minimum of one (1) year of direct work experience in the developmental disability field.
Ability to develop and implement individual treatment plans; with the knowledge of behavioral, clinical, and mental health interventions, and skill building techniques.
Understanding of the emotional and behavioral needs of assigned clients.
Interpersonal communications skills necessary to; work independently and as a team member, make observations and to report them accurately, and follow oral and written instructions.
The ability to facilitate meetings.
The ability to work independently via a virtual office; using a lap top computer, and cell phone.

Job Summary
The Sommelier is responsible for creating a comfortable yet upscale experience for guests of Triple Creek Ranch. This position is responsible for all aspects of wine and beverage service in the dining room including ambiance, cocktail/beer/wine/non-alcoholic beverage service, as well as food service under the direction of the Beverage Manager.
Minimum Required Qualifications
The person in this position needs to:
Constantly move about the dining room.
Frequently use hands to open and pour wine.
Occasionally use cleaning equipment to wipe, scrub and polish.
Frequently ascend and descend stairs when moving between the dining room and the rooftop lounge or storage areas on the main floor.
Occasionally positions self to reach items in lower cabinets, on lower shelves and in beverage closet.
Frequently communicates with guests regarding wine and other beverage selections and other ranch information, guest requests or concerns to the Dining & Beverage Manager, or other appropriate departments.
Frequently lift and carry boxes, equipment and other items weighing upwards of 60 lbs. Occasionally lift and carry boxes, equipment and other items weighing upwards of 75 lbs.
Must possess an alcohol server certification valid in the state of MT, or obtain one within 60 days of hire.
Minimum certification of Introductory Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers or other relevant certification body. Certified certification preferred.
Essential Functions
Create a positive and energetic environment that supports the delivery of an exceptional guest experience while upholding the highest level of TCR and Relais & Châteaux standards.
Maintain the extraordinary five-star TCR image and resort appearance including all service, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
Sell wine and spirits and place correct information on guest's invoices.
Must adhere to TC Ranch alcohol policy, creating a space where guests can enjoy themselves, but not be overserved.
Never serve minors alcoholic beverages.
Approach guests table side and offer services in a polite and open manner.
Ability to accurately describe, recommend and serve beverages of the world.
Ability to create wine pairings on the floor and Chef's Table wine pairing/service.
Ability to create wine seminars for guests.
Keep a full-time presence on the floor to refill wines and beverages and to answer questions.
Ability to help service staff take orders and deliver food and deliver beverages as needed.
Responsible for upkeep of wine lists and identify any mistakes on the list.
Learn about the various wine, beer and cocktails that are offered.
Assist Dining & Beverage Manager with inventory controls and par levels related to beverages, including but not limited to: beer, spirits, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
Assist with beverage training of bartenders and service staff as needed.
Must be willing and able to serve food in the dining room as needed.
Must know food items and be able to articulate flavors, types and give detailed descriptions.
Be aware of guest dietaries and pay special attention to all menu items that could be problematic.
Report any guest complaints immediately to the manager or lead server in manager's absence.
Once Sommelier's closing and side-work is completed, help with closing duties in back of house.
Self-motivate to perform cleaning tasks and stay busy once side work is done.
Assist in cleaning the lodge and lounge during off-season cleanings.
Always conduct yourself in a professional manner with guests and other employees.
Uphold five-star Triple Creek Ranch and Relais & Chateaux standards at all times.
Adhere to company and department dress code.
Adhere to all federal, state and local alcohol serving laws.
Follow all safety and food handling procedures properly.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
