This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience while earning money to help fund your education! Work hours are Monday-Friday 6:00-2:30 Desired to fill five full time positions for summer and two for fall part time. Essential Functions and Responsibilities The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily to be qualified for the position. Other duties may be required and assigned. Perform lawn care including cutting, trimming, and weed removal using powered and/or hand operated equipment. Removal of weeds. Removal of litter and trash from parking lots and grounds. Irrigation of lawns, trees and plant material as needed. Provide necessary care for plants and trees such as trimming/pruning, insect and disease control, using integrated pest management practices including cultural, chemical, and biological methods. Perform minor maintenance on grounds equipment for safe operation: including checking engine oil, air filters, brakes and lights, refueling, daily clean-up of equipment. Maintain order in storage areas. Perform other duties relating to maintaining grounds as requested by Vehicle Maintenance & Grounds Team Lead. Minimum QualificationsEducation and/or Experience Requirements: Must be at least 16 years old. Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements: Valid Driver's License preferred. Subject to FVTC's Motor Vehicle Records Check. WI State UTV/ATV Certification required for ages 17 and under.
