This includes, but is not limited to, proper weld size, weld profile, cleaning, preheating, etc. Conduct thorough inspections of completed welds to ensure industry standards, codes, and customer requirements are met. Identify and rectify defects or imperfections in welds with appropriate corrective action methods. Set up and calibrate welding equipment. Confirm temporary bracing is installed as needed to avoid distortion and remove bracing when complete. Operate punches, grinders, drills, saws, oxy-fuel torches, plasma cutters, and other basic equipment & hand tools. Move and/or organize materials as needed to support production tasks. Maintain a clean and orderly workstation. Qualifications and Requirements: 5+ years welding experience with some flux core welding (FCAW) with proved track record of high-quality work.
