Responsibilities:
Interpret concept artwork into production-ready files - adding die lines, and color callouts, checking dimensions for accuracy & attaching inspiration samples/color chips.
Compile and release digital assets in Figma, adjusting designs and copy as needed for INTL use.
Spec and release sign kits, seasonal assets, and digital art for production
Proof and review materials, both print and digital.
Review and follow the weekly production schedule, meeting all deadlines. Work closely with the US Production department to ensure packaging quality and meet deadlines.
Communicating between design/production on a regular basis.
Create style guides and overview guides for presentations.
Stay up-to-date with current design and graphics trends in fashion and marketing.
Required Qualifications:
BA or BFA degree in Graphic, Web, or Communication Design required.
Portfolio of representative work required.
2+ years experience in fashion retail marketing, design studio, agency or freelance ideal.
Experience with both print and digital production.
Extremely proficient in design applications: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop, and Figma.
High degree of proficiency with online drives and internet applications. Google Drive and other Google workspace applications.
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Design
Work closely with Chief Product Officer and Designer to formulate concepts, select color stories and develop fabrics, prints, trim and/or graphics for each season.
Prepare professional presentation boards with illustrations, CAD artwork, fabrication and garment samples.
Launching of TPs to factories and ownership of email correspondence in relation to design details & questions
Conduct fittings with Chief Product Officer and/or Designer.
Key player in setting up and maintaining control sheets, logs, etc. to remain organized throughout each season
Continuously research and monitor current fashion trends, industry developments, and competitor products to incorporate trend insights into the design process and maintain the brand's relevance and competitiveness in the market.
Support Design Team with daily operations, including managing samples, tech packs, providing comments, maintaining control sheets, sketching, and monitoring incoming and outgoing design-related mail packages.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales and Creative teams
Production/Technical Support
Work to maintain design concepts throughout production process.
Coordinate and manage fittings of proto/SMS/pre-production samples with models, ensuring detailed feedback and necessary revisions.
Help with garment specification in preparation for fittings.
After fittings, submit clear comments to the factory to ensure the next sample reflects necessary changes.
Review garment specifications and construction, offering technical comments and suggestions for improvements.
Address production and quality issues and communicate these to the Sales & Creative teams.
Create shot lists for ghost imagery/ecommerce photo shoots, and ensure correct samples are pulled.
Evaluate and approve ghost mannequin photography, ensuring the images accurately represent the fit, drape, and design details of the garments, in partnership with the DL1961 Design Team.
The salary range for this position is $55-60K.
