The job duties involve providing support to project managers, other designers, and utility coordinators by developing utility relocation designs and preparing utility construction plans and utilities by others plans on municipal and state roadway and infrastructure projects. The job involves working on multiple complex designs across various projects simultaneously, as well as plan development, and preparation of project specifications and estimates. The ideal candidate should possess an extensive understanding of design and drafting techniques and have experience with utility relocations on roadway and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā· Develop utility relocation designs
Ā· Develop utility construction plans and profiles
Ā· Analyze projects for utility conflicts to determine necessary relocations
Ā· Analyze utility owner as-builts and system maps to compare for survey accuracy
