About this role
As a vital member of the Creative & Design Team, you will contribute your creative design skills to execute the ideation and design of print and digital assets from conception to launch. You will support the development of our brands and products by fully exploring creative briefs and delivering wow-worthy work to the highest standards. You'll execute creative assets across online and print mediums including digital design for e-commerce content and print design of product collateral, signage, trade shows, and retailer merchandising displays. You are creative and use your mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to work quickly to bring conceptual design and assets to life, utilizing the Kidde brand system. Reporting to the Brand Design Manager, you exhibit self-motivation and superb organization to execute a high volume of creative design while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design packaging, displays, and POG renderings according to brand guidelines and launch timing.
Design printed product collateral and catalog page layouts utilizing the brand guidelines.
Executes the visual design for trade show booth signage, flyers, ads, and collateral.
Executes campaign animations for digital ads, banners, and social media.
Coordinates assets to support video production and executes video editing.
Executes new brand visions through multiple design solutions with the consistency of being on target with design objectives and brand strategy.
Work closely with internal teams to understand brand and project requirements and deadlines.
Use excellent communication skills to gain the confidence and trust of cross-functional partners and internal team members.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming, critiques, and ideation sessions.
Follow file naming conventions and file organization procedures and rules.
Regularly upload approved assets to digital asset management (DAM) platform
Keep project management tool up to date with current project information/statuses.
Review digital proofs for accuracy and quality as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Associate degree
4+ years of graphic design experience
5+ years of Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, and After Effects.
1+ year of experience working with Figma
1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Have an online portfolio showcasing a range of brand-driven consumer-facing design executions including brand design systems, e-commerce, packaging, and product collateral.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of digital and print design with meticulous attention to detail.
Working knowledge of the consumer products industry.
Executes aesthetic excellence through typography, color, image, and layout.
Strong illustration and photo retouching skills
