Some of the specific duties are listed below: Conceptualizes and designs marketing materials including websites, promotional pieces, brochures, presentations, social media, advertising, and internet marketing components. Discovers and organizes graphic design elements including photography, video clips, animation, icons, logos, and other visual elements. Collaborates with marketing team to assess, conceptualize, develop, and implement new marketing concepts and initiatives that enrich our brand and win new business. Assists with design and implementation of online marketing programs including graphic updates, e-mail promotions, landing pages, e-newsletters, and other forms of Search Engine Marketing. Assists with design and implementation of market research to formulate strategic marketing campaigns, measure results and make adjustments to maximize future success. Assist with design and maintenance of CRM software. Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or related field. Current knowledge of technology advances in software, graphic arts, and design. Be available to work 20+ hours/week in our Omaha, NE office. Dates of internship are flexible. Skills and Abilities: Expertise with graphic design software including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and other programs within Adobe Creative Suite, as well as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Pardot. Proficiency in design and layout of websites, e-newsletters, landing pages, blogs, and mobile apps. Ability to develop the overall layout and production of both print and electronic visual materials including brochures, newsletters, advertising, direct mail, interactive media, multimedia projects and internet material. Job Duties Responsibility Area: Design & Manage IS&T Website Duties: * Design assets for online and print marketing, recruitment, reports, social media, and communications efforts. * Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and contests to boost student engagement and IS&T visibility (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, etc.) * Coordinate logistics and design promotional materials for events. * Support IS&T events by obtaining photo releases from students and work with the university's Marketing Communications unit to secure photography for events. * Regularly analyze marketing trends and develop strategies to ensure content, campaigns, and engagement is innovative and relevant. * Launch and manage social media advertising and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights). * Operate and manage platforms like Cascade, HubSpot, LucidPress, Canva, and Adobe to create, design, and maintain website content and marketing assets. * Coordinate with UNO's MarComm or Freelancer unit for the writing of IS&T stories Percentage Of Time 80 Essential Function: Yes Responsibility Area: Strategic Planning & Collaboration; Analyze Results and Effectiveness Duties: * Develop a strategic plan for the college's promotion efforts * Coordinate with UNO's marketing communications and external parties for photography, freelancer writers, and students to promote the college in its multiple initiatives and events. * Manage students, if needed. * Serve on committees as necessary, including the University Marketing Communications unit * Monitor Google Analytics and social media statistics to examine the effectiveness of our promotion efforts and report data to leadership.
