Job Description
The production graphic designer is a highly skilled designer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on executing pixel-perfect designs, ensuring consistency across all materials, and maintaining brand integrity. You will work closely with the creative and account teams to produce high-quality assets for print advertising, collateral material, logo development, branding efforts, social media and web/interactive-based assignments. The production graphic designer will be instrumental in communicating ideas, engaging consumers, and solving visual challenges.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 year's experience and knowledge of production processes, and comfortable using digital illustration and layout software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other industry design and production software; reasonable drawing skills; printing processes and specification; paper specification; ink specification; familiarity with typestyles, type design and type specification; stock photography; photo retouching and image manipulation; art direction of original photography; and good communication skills are desirable.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintains high skill levels in software programs required to perform assigned job functions; enjoys learning about new software and sharing that knowledge with the rest of the team.
Meticulously reviews and proofs all design files to catch inconsistencies, errors, and formatting issues before final production, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency against brand guidelines.
Works with Sr Art Director and account teams to produce assigned projects.
Experience in design for online media, including email marketing, social, website, and microsites.
Proven ability to politely communicate creative topics to non-creative audiences. Takes creative critique (no matter how absurd) in stride.
Designs and produces art & copy layouts in an expedited fashion for marketing materials, including sales collateral, catalogs, print advertising, sales promotion, displays, logo development, email, websites and social campaigns.
Designs media in a wide variety of styles to address clients' needs.
Takes work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
Presents new ideas to members of the team and listens to and addresses feedback.
Monitors projects through all phases of production.
Develops work that is on strategy and reflects and follows the brand's standards.
Other tasks as assigned by agency.
Presents completed ideas to clients and agency members.
Stays on top of trends and maintains best practices.
Understands marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.

In order to perform this job, the individual will review product designs and transfer primary design markings and notches to the pattern files within Gerber. The individual will start by using Adobe Illustrator to simplify the garment style to an outline, or blueprint, of the most important style lines, this “broken-down” form of the original garment style is then converted to be utilized within Gerber Accumark. This Gerber file will contain a single pattern piece in a single size and is ready to be used to create a full size run. Before grading, the Gerber Pro should make sure that final pattern pieces are consistent across the entire size run. Once the pro has graded all style lines to the full size run, the pro will export and then open the files in Adobe Illustrator and double check each individual size to make sure it is a properly proportionate representation of the original style in its base size.
This individual must be highly detailed, possess strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills and work well independently.

Key Responsibilities:
