Much of the day will be spent using 3D CFD software (STARCCM+ or Converge), building physics-based models in addition to analyzing results. Time will also be spent attending team meetings and documenting and reporting results to clients. This position will work on a small team under the guidance of senior team members and is responsible for performing fluid, efficiency and thermal modeling and simulations at request of design teams to assess engine combustion, performance and behavior. PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or MS degree with 3+ years of related work experience.
