The research technician will bear responsibility for general maintenance of the laboratory, equipment, and inventories on-site within the fermentation laboratory. The successful candidate will contribute to an expanding and vibrant research portfolio at the Institute around community epidemiology. Areas of interest include Alzheimer's disease monitoring and trends, racial disparities, life-course risk factors, neuroimaging and blood biomarkers, nutrition, neuropsychology, physical activity, healthy aging, genetics, and multigenerational studies. The successful candidates will facilitate ongoing research projects in large multigenerational epidemiologic studies. They will be expected to establish independent research careers. This position will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the Graduate Admissions Office, including but not limited to working with graduate admissions staff to recruit and enroll students in more than 35 graduate programs. Duties will also include helping to support the input and review of prospect data within the SLATE CRM. Responsibilities Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission in Catholic and Lasallian higher education. * Data entry of inquiries and related information into the SLATE CRM. * Telephone, texting and email communication to prospective student who inquire or apply to graduate programs. * Maintaining student data and records. * Assist in coordination of recruitment events and also staffing recruitment information tables both on and off campus. * Review and assist with the production of marketing and promotional materials. * Conduct research and compile data with regard to competitive graduate program, tuition rates, delivery modalities and more. * Staff live chat during assigned hours on the main Lewis University website. * Other job-related duties as assigned in support of the Graduate Admissions Office. To assist the Head Women's Golf Coach in all aspects of the program, while contributing to the goals of North Central College Athletic Department and Women's Golf Program set for the 2018-2019 academic year. The main responsibilities are assisting with recruiting, academics and retention, administrative duties and coaching. This assistantship will complement and enhance the student's formal graduate studies, research interests and career goals by providing him/her with the opportunity to apply the theory to practice, while gaining valuable training and professional experience. Responsibilities include: For the MLD student, this assistantship allows the graduate assistant to create solutions, discover leadership ideas and skills, and develop the ability to engage and motivate others. The GA will gain experiences in relationship building within different populations including, but not limited to, recruits, student-athletes, alumni, coaches, and other professionals in various departments across campus. For the MBA student, this assistantship will allow them to experience budget projections, operations, and supervision and leadership of student employees. The GA will gain experience in relationship development within different populations including, but not limited to, recruits, student-athletes, alumni, coaches and other professionals in various departments across campus. The will be educated regarding budget management and financial planning within the sport at the College and within the industry. The North Central College women's golf program is a very competitive program at the conference and regional level.
