Pharmacy students currently enrolled in a professional pharmacy program will have the opportunity to concentrate on patient counseling, customer service, over the counter medications, immunization, and vaccinations, MTM, point of care testing and disease state management.
Our pharmacy interns:
Performs all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated pharmacist preceptor
Takes all steps required to fill prescriptions in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures
Offers advice and consultation to customers and health care professionals regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health related products and concerns
Implements company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability
Actively participates in clinical services
Requirements/Qualifications
Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy
Must hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment
Ability to readily and positively adapt to changes in schedule specifications, and work priorities as the business and customer needs demand

Audubon Vermont seeks an applicant pursuing, or having recently completed a degree in conservation, natural resources, forestry, ecology, ornithology, and related fields to serve as the Bird-Friendly Maple Intern. The person in this position will work with Audubon Vermont's Senior Program Manager, Forests and Senior Associate, Forest Conservation on a variety of projects specific to the Bird-Friendly Maple program.

Intern Responsibilities and Learning Objectives:
* Conduct maple sugarbush inventories and habitat assessments for maple producers through the Bird-Friendly Maple program. This includes communications and scheduling site visits with landowners, interacting with landowners and collecting data during site visits, and writing follow-up reports to be provided to landowners.
* Conduct follow-up outreach with currently enrolled Bird-Friendly Maple producers to ensure compliance with program standards
* Depending on interest and experience level, additional opportunities may include monitoring Vermont forest bird species of conservation concern in participating sugarbushes and conducting public outreach.
* Draft factsheets, blogs, webpage and/or social media content, and other outreach materials to support Audubon Vermont's conservation programs.
Additional tasks and projects may include the following:
* Participate in outreach activities, which may include bird walks, workshops and special events.
* Attend meetings with public officials, environmental leaders, scientists and volunteers to support Audubon Vermont's participation and contributions.
* Opportunities to participate in other Audubon Vermont conservation projects including the Green Mountain Audubon Center MAPS bird banding station, Common Tern Recovery Project, and Peregrine Falcon and Bald Eagle monitoring.
* Partner/Collaborate/Assist with Audubon staff to ensure that equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging principles are incorporated and followed in all aspects of our work.

FOX44/WFFF-TV in Burlington, Vermont has a summer paid internship opportunity through the New York State Broadcasters Association (NYSBA). Students will have an opportunity to gain a wide range of hands-on experience while interning in the news department. Interns work closely with producers, anchors, and reporters both in-house and out in the field. At the station, interns could help research and write stories. If needed, they will also contact sources for additional information.
In the field, interns will learn how the camera equipment works, what camera shots matter and how reporters gather new information to differentiate live shots. Interns may function as field producers in the sense of coordinating interviews and attending press conferences. Other opportunities exist for those who are interested in learning more about directing and producing. Interns can shadow the producers in the control room and eventually try to produce a portion of the show themselves. For those interested in on-air opportunities, anchors and reporters will help students craft a reel.

The primary responsibility of the Food Access & Gleaning Intern is to assist in gleaning and distributing produce within Chittenden County alongside the Food Access & Gleaning Program Assistant and Senior Manager - Community Engagement. Audubon Vermont seeks applicants pursuing, or having recently completed a degree in conservation, natural resources, forestry, ecology, ornithology, and related fields to serve as a Forest Conservation Intern. The person in this position will work, both independently/remotely and in-person, with Audubon's Healthy Forests Program Senior Associate on a variety of forest-bird conservation projects.
Primary responsibilities will involve assisting with individualized technical support, education, and outreach to landowners and foresters through the Woods, Wildlife, and Warblers program and the Forester Training and Endorsement Program. Depending on interest and experience level, additional opportunities may include monitoring Vermont forest bird species of conservation concern, creating and managing databases, and developing maps in GIS. The internship is designed to provide a range of administrative and programmatic experiences with a focus on issues facing birds in Vermont and Northern New England.
The position will occur during the summer of 2025 (May-August) with a time frame that can be adapted to meet a variety of academic schedules. Applicants must commit to working 20 hours a week @ ($16/hr) over this time period. Travel between home office and field sites is reimbursed at the federal rate of 70 cents/mile.
This is a remote position, allowing for work from home for office-related tasks, and involving regular travel to field sites throughout the state of Vermont.

Essential Functions
The primary responsibility of the position is:
Assist with landowner and forester outreach, communications, and delivery of private lands assessments and resource management guidance to private landowners and/or their consulting forester. This includes communications and scheduling site visits with landowners and foresters, interacting 1:1 with landowners and foresters, collecting habitat information during site visits, and writing follow-up reports for landowners and foresters.
Additional tasks and projects may include the following:
Conduct bird monitoring at Foresters for the Birds demonstration sites.
Participate in outreach activities, which may include bird walks, workshops and special events.
Draft articles, factsheets, blogs, webpages and social media content and other outreach materials to support Audubon Vermont's conservation programs.
Attend meetings with public officials, environmental leaders, scientists and volunteers to support Audubon Vermont's participation and contributions.
Opportunities to participate in other Audubon Vermont conservation projects including the Green Mountain Audubon Center MAPS bird banding station, Common Tern Recovery Project, and Peregrine Falcon and Bald Eagle monitoring.
Assist with Audubon staff to ensure that equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging principles are incorporated and followed in all aspects of our work.
