What is a golf range attendant and how to become one

Golf range attendants assist players on golf fields picking up golf balls and driving trailer vehicles collecting balls on the field. They clean them as well, by inserting them into tumbler machines filled with water and detergent, to remove dirt or grass, leaving fresh and clean balls for the next players.

Cleaning the heads and shanks of golf clubs will also be your job, wiping them and polishing them off. Replacing golf clubs and balls into their designated place is also on you, to make sure the next patrons on the field will know where to find them. Minor maintenance works might also end up on your to-do list, such as cleaning and tidying building areas and maintaining vehicles in good working condition.

A high school diploma is more than enough to get this job. A driver's license and good physical condition are a must, as you will have to drive vehicles and move around quite a lot, bending and lifting heavy objects, standing around, or running. Your average hourly wages will be around $12.1.
