Check in and receive all inbound freight and process outbound freight. Send hardgoods via UPS to appropriate branches and/or customers. Provide all packing slips to the warehouse manager and report discrepancies. Remove all back orders from incoming shipments and place them into the bins/pallets designated for the corresponding store. Collect all orders (store, gas truck, customer, and branch orders) from the warehouse manager. Collect hard goods from locations. Organize the hard goods for the next day's deliveries and pickups. Remove the warehouse trash and cardboard to recycling bins, as necessary. Participate in the annual inventory and bin location update. Ensure the warehouse and work areas are kept clean and free of work hazards. Maintain and update all inventory and inventory labels. Maintain accurate and organized inventory of hardgoods. Stock and distribute necessary non sellable items to other branches (Two-Part Printer tickets, Copy Paper, Carbon Copy Paper, etc.) Maintain records of all transactions that involve hardgoods coming in and out of the warehouse. Receive and organize interdepartmental inventory. Adhere to all safety standards and conduct. Work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. Properly check-in inventory coming from vendors, pull backorders and put any remaining inventory in the correct location in the warehouse for future branch orders. Pickup the CO2 departments outgoing UPS shipments each day at 3:45 PM and place in the UPS pickup area. Conduct the weekly inventory spot counts provided by the Warehouse Manager and report findings. Pick any special items for the branches assigned to you such as picking tickets, motor oil, Blue Def, etc. Pull any branch error corrections for your assigned branches when requested by the supervisor. Conduct inspection of warehouse racking and uprights. Be prepared to work after regular hours, if needed, to complete a task for any given day. Primary Responsibilities As a Manufacturing Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising assigned manufacturing production activities, including production output, quality, safety, materials, department goals, and coaching and developing the hourly workforce. This includes, but is not limited to: Lead, coach, and motivate a team to achieve plant goals. Develop and ensure a positive working relationship with hourly production team members. This includes building strong, interactive teams; fostering employee engagement; mentoring through listening, coaching and performance reviews; training and onboarding. Manage daily production and schedule requirements for assigned department(s) and ensure a consistent flow of work through the department(s). Adjust available resources and respond to shortfalls or imbalances. Ensure safe working conditions and safe work habits for area team members through the identification and correction of any safety concerns/issues, safety training, conducting safety audits of the area, modeling and reinforcing positive safety behaviors, and conducting first aid/near miss/accident investigations to determine root cause and resolution. Support plant leadership with recommendations for improving production methods, equipment, operating procedures, quality standards, production efficiencies, and safety/working conditions. Partner with the plant maintenance department to ensure production areas are functioning at a high level and to minimize downtime. Work with plant support operations, such as Materials, Scheduling, and Logistics, to ensure a balanced schedule and a consistent flow of material into assigned production area.
