Responsibilities * Analyze and interpret satellite imagery to create accurate and detailed maps. * Digitize and georeference satellite images to integrate them into GIS databases. * Collaborate with project teams to provide spatial analysis and mapping support. * Maintain and update GIS databases with new satellite imagery and related data. * Ensure the accuracy and quality of digitized maps and spatial data. * Utilize GIS software and tools to perform spatial analysis and generate reports. * Stay updated with the latest advancements in GIS technology and satellite imagery processing. Essential Skills * Proficiency in ArcGIS * Strong understanding of GIS principles * Experience with feature extraction and geospatial analysis * Attention to detail * Problem-solving skills Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree acceptable * Experience with Esri and Geography Work Environment This position offers the flexibility to work from home or in an office if preferred. The role is independent and not team-oriented. The dress code is laid back, with options ranging from jeans and a tee-shirt to business casual attire. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with the option to work four 10-hour shifts if that suits the candidate better.
