Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Operates baler to prepare 1200 - 1500 pound bales for shipment.
* Hand-load baler when necessary.
* Bands and weighs bales.
* Keeps a record of bale weights.
* Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required.
* Experience operating a baling machine and counter-balance scale is preferred.
* Ability to read or understand safety features and instructions.

Safely operate baler to prepare 1200-1500 pound bales for shipment. Count number of articles to be banded to verify number on work order. Load materials into baling machine. Unwind plastic or metal banding material from reel, wrap band around stack or bundle, inserts loose end of banding material into strapping tool and cinches and crimps banding material and clamp with strapping tool to secure articles during storage or shipment. Complete with all agency safety policies and DOT guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BALER

* Knowledge of basic math
* Able to operate counterbalance scale to weigh bails

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operates baler to prepare 1200 - 1500 pound bales for shipment.
Hand-load baler when necessary.
Bands and weighs bales.
Keeps a record of bale weights.
Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required.
Experience operating a baling machine and counter-balance scale is preferred.
Ability to read or understand safety features and instructions.
Must maintain the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
