The Position:
We are looking for a self-driven Senior DevOps Engineer who will be working in a global DevOps team to build and maintain CI/CD pipeline in Getac technology.
Every day you will:
The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipeline in Getac Video Solutions (GVS). Responsibilities include managing various internal R&D systems and tools for code repository and branching, build and packaging, artifacts management, and automated testing. While this position requires ongoing monitoring of the stability and performance of internal systems, increasing efficiency of maintaining systems by utilizing scripts and automation will be another key contribution. The Senior DevOps engineer will be asked to solve various technical challenges as well as participate in many strategic discussions for development and deployment. The DevOps engineer will report to QA/DevOps manager or higher.
Here's what might happen on a typical day:
Improve and maintain development branching strategy to support continuous integration for several concurrent releases.
Build and manage build automation servers such as Jenkins or TeamCity to ensure streamlined build process and automated tests without interruption.
Automated deploy process of our products to internal systems to be provided to other teams such as development, QA, and operations.
Utilize scripting methodologies or coding languages to solve technical problems encountered in our custom workflow.
Use open-source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project.
System management especially virtual system environment, R&D network and labs, QA automation systems, and 3

party software applications
Research best approach and implement integrate solutions between internal and external software that GVS utilizes.
Jira and Confluence administration including its system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrade, and maximizing resource utilization.
Provides direct and responsive support for urgent analytic needs.
Implement proper level of security to GVS solutions and all systems/applications used by GVS.
Own and drive internal projects to deliver requested solutions through defining requirements, scheduling major milestones, and collaborating with other teams.
In your past experience:
Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or related fields
5+ of working experience as a DevOps engineer in small to medium scale organization.
5+ of hands-on experiences on CI/CD pipeline establishment and management tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform or equivalent.
5+ of years in scripting capabilities on Python, Groovy, PHP, PowerShell, JavaScript, Perl or any other
5+ of experience in build and deploying docker containerization.
5+ of years in experiences in artifact repositories such as JFrog, Nexus, or Azure Artifacts
5+ years of experience in any Cloud environment such as Azure or AWS including complete CI/CD pipeline establishment and monitoring production environment to ensure its availability and stability.
Strong understanding on the application and network security to support our compliance requirements.
System administration capabilities on various OS and database types including Windows platform, Linux, MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB
Solid understanding or hands-on experience in object-oriented programming knowledge to support development team.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Demonstrate capability of leading multiple internal/external projects

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. · Manage, train, develop, and coach new and existing quality assurance employees
· Determine training requirements
· Manage and determine department needs and resources
· Implement, manage and/or maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards. (e.g., ISO 9001)
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
· Develop, implement, coordinate, and monitor quality programs, control plans, procedures, and policies for products, services, and operational tasks as required.
· Create company-wide work instructions, procedures, and policies as required
· Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure products and processes meet or exceed customer and/or operational expectations and requirements
· Analyze data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and help drive implementation of corrective actions
· Manage, create, implement, and follow up on corrective actions
· Collaborate closely with other departments, such as production, engineering, sales teams to ensure quality throughout the entire product life cycle
· Manage supplier quality programs, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective actions
· Generate reports for management and customers as required
· Follow safety rules and keep clean/orderly work area
· Perform other duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
Education / Experience
· Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or Quality Management field), plus 5-10 years related experience. Or 10+ years' experience in quality assurance field with relevant position(s).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Knowledge of SAP desired
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. (written and verbal)
· Have attention to detail
· Ability to fluently read and write in English
· Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles, methodologies, and tools. Such as SPC, Geometric Dimensioning, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA's, etc.
· Proficient in quality management systems (QMS), (e.g., ISO 9001)
· Advanced understanding of inspection and testing techniques, philosophies, for various purposes and equipment
· Proven ability to lead and develop a team
· Ability to think analytically and problem solve
· Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and maintain composure in stressful situations
· Ability to communicate with clearly with customers on behalf of KEB
· Ability to measure employee performance and productivity and perform follow-up / feedback
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The McKinney Manufacturing Engineering department that supports the Surveillance Mission Area division of Raytheon is seeking an Engineering Technician for Test Equipment Support. Test equipment supports different Electro-optical Infrared (EO/IR) system variants produced in the McKinney, TX Consolidated Manufacturing Center. The individual must be self-motivated and will work with a cross functional team including manufacturing engineering, factory management, and operations assembly and test. This position will reside in McKinney, Texas (no relocation support available).
What you will do:
This is a third shift role (start times can vary between 9pm to 11pm) and standard workdays starting Sunday night through Friday morning. Occasional weekend support with options for 9/80 work schedule.
Support daily factory needs to maintain equipment uptime such as preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and resolving test equipment failures.
Maintain and improve factory metrics to reduce cost and improve factory capabilities.
Participate in investigations of failure trends for root cause and implementation of corrective actions.
Carrying out appointed tasks with minimal supervision.
Engage with supplier(s) for test equipment purchases.
Qualifications you must have:
AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant technical experience.
Relevant technical experience is as below in any combination:
Hands-on experience maintaining/repairing test equipment
Troubleshooting failures
Working in a factory environment in assembly, test, or engineering tasks
Experience reading drawings, datasheets, and system specifications

Qualifications we prefer:

What You Will Do

The candidate will perform analysis on data, to determine root cause analysis of failures.

Experience with RF fundamentals, such as the RF electro-magnetic spectrum, propagation delay, and RF components.
Experience with antenna measurement patterns and how antennas work.
Experience with decibels (dB's) and / or dBm values with respect to equivalent power levels in Watts.

What You Will Do
Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure
Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises cloud computing environments
Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions
Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management
Provide operational support for the platform
Administrative fluency with the following (or vendor equivalent): Red Hat Linux (v7+, 8+ preferred), Rancher
Experience troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based OS.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience
Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Rancher
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI / CI Poly security clearance is required on day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
