Responsibilities
Complies with all specified FDCPA, state and city laws and provisions, as outlined in the InteLogix Compliance with FDCPA and State Collection laws Statement, the Collection Excellence and System Training programs and the FDCPA Test
Assists Managers on special projects
Handle inbound calls
Taking payments on customer wireless, wireline and connect accounts
Managing customer accounts by sending invoices, setting up autopay and ensuring the accounts do not get suspended
Corrects any deficiencies or oversights as outlined by management and/or quality control
Maintains good public relations
Adhere to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements
Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals
React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers
Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others
Perform additional duties as required by management
Qualifications
What We Look for in a Candidate:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or equivalent required, BA degree preferred
Call Center or Collections experience preferred
Excellent communication, both written and oral
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts
Ability to remain engaged on the phone throughout the entirety of your shift with minimal to no distractions
Possess computer/technology savvy with the ability to smoothly operate multiple windows and tabs, while simultaneously providing Best-In-Class Customer Experience speaking to customers over the phone

Responsibilities
Manage assigned customer base through phone calls and email communication, ensure appropriate documentation
Handle tax-related tasks, such as - sending forms to customers, uploading tax documents, and assisting customers with form corrections
Prepare and distribute monthly aging reports for all customers
Perform monthly offsets with Cost Assurance
Compile legal packets for defaults and bankruptcies - send Demand letters via FedEx
Investigate tax claims and conduct payment investigations for customers
Facilitate balance transfer as needed
Process bill media suppressions and address change requests from customers
Reprint invoices upon request
Collaborate with connectivity management to onboard customers into appropriate Portal
Manage refunds after verifying no active accounts exist for transfers
Input disconnects and followup until completed in provisioning and billing systems
Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks, strong Excel skills required
Analyze large datasets, work with spreadsheets, and navigate multiple systems - continuous training will be provided throughout the duration of employment

Job Purpose:
This position will be responsible for commercial loan and lease collections and related servicing. Will devise and execute effective collection strategies designed to efficiently resolve commercial delinquency, mitigate risk, and ameliorate recoveries while minimizing expense and maintaining excellent customer service. The position requires the candidate have strong negotiating skills, with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with senior leaders of prominent national corporations.
Job Duties:
* Will identify, evaluate, and resolve commercial delinquencies and manage escalated collection matters, tailoring unique strategies and negotiating complex payment arrangements to resolve delinquent accounts.
* Responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan or lease documents, payment histories, past dues, collateral and inspections, monetary compliance/defaults, covenant(s) compliance, financial statement reporting, maturities, forbearance agreements, bankruptcy, and other legal proceedings.
* Will initiate collection calls and resolve delinquencies while demonstrating proper phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills.
* Maintain current and accurate records of all collection related communications and activities, including but limited to, actionable treatment strategies.
* Will devise and execute effective collection strategies. Recommend workout solutions and/or loan or lease modifications, implement orderly liquidation/exit or rehabilitation plans, manage foreclosures, replevin actions and repossessions.
* Collaborate with line of business partners to ensure proactive risk management and devise and implement strategy for delinquency reduction and over all asset quality improvement.
* Responsible for managing internal and external resources to effectively control expenses.
* Will provide timely and accurate reporting to senior management.
* Will be responsible for executing duties in compliance with internal policies and procedures in addition to applicable regulatory requirements.
* Will coordinate and collaborate with attorneys to enforce rights and remedies, as necessary
* Will handle administrative functions as needed for the Specialty Finance or Special Assets Departments, including but not limited to, preparation of correspondence (notices of default, demand, reservation of rights, etc).
* Will perform special projects as assigned.

* 5+ years of related experience in commercial collections or as a loan officer, workout banker, credit analyst, or underwriter.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
* 5+ years commercial collection and customer service experience.
* Knowledge of banking regulations, state collection laws, and bankruptcy law.
