* Strong communication skills. You will be working as the sole technical artist with a team of Graphics programmers and expected to effectively translate engineering requirements to art requirements and vice-versa.

* Lead the creation of high-quality, detailed 3D models from realistic humans and creatures to vehicles, weapons and props.
* Collaborate with the art director and other team leads to ensure artistic consistency and quality.
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior modelers and artists.

* Stay current with and continually research trends, tools, and techniques within our industry to see how they can benefit our workflows and push innovation.

Requirements
* Minimum of 10 years experience in game development as an artist specializing in character modeling using Maya, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Zbrush, or Mudbox.
* Exceptional understanding of next-generation asset creation pipelines and tools.
* An exceptional understanding of sculpting form, shape, structure, and silhouette.
* Demonstrated proficiency in traditional hard-surface poly modeling techniques.
* Great eye for light, shading, color, and detail in creating texture maps.
* Self-motivation, outstanding communication skills, and a great team-player attitude.
* Able to work creatively as part of a large or small group.
* Proven problem-solving and prototyping ability.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $116,800.00 - $216,000.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. What will you do?
* Interact closely with the core game creative team to develop and maintain workflows, toolchains and tools for our artists worldwide
* Proactively innovate, identify and solve problems before they affect the development teams
* Research and Implement new techniques/technology across multiple art disciplines to aid creativity, quality and efficiency
* Establish and maintain a asset pipeline for vehicles, characters, VFX, and game levels.
* Communicate solutions to both artists and engineers
* Effectively document solutions and maintain reference materials
What are we looking for?
* 4+ years of applicable professional experience as a technical artist with knowledge of engines (especially Unreal) and art pipelines
* Experience with advanced Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine 4/5
* Experience using Maya and/or 3ds Max or similar software
* Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 Material Editor and related tools
* Familiarity working and developing in a multi-platform, multi-project environment
* Working knowledge and experience with vehicle rigging and Unreal vehicle technology
* Working knowledge and experience with character pipelines for rigging, skinning, facial animation and MOCAP integration.
* Working knowledge and experience with game level performance profiling.
