The role
G-Research hires the best engineering talent available. As a Senior Technology Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will focus on Engineering, identifying, engaging and closing Platform and Software Engineers from a range of different backgrounds, tech-stacks and industries.
You will execute a comprehensive engagement strategy for Engineers with varying levels of experience, focusing on talent markets within Texas and North America, utilising a range of different tools and techniques.
You will act as a brand ambassador for G-Research, working to grow our presence in Texas and beyond. Internally, you will build positive relationships with Hiring Managers within the business and, as a subject matter expert, you will advise on recruitment best practice.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Building an extensive multi-year pipeline of talent with a range of tools, platforms and techniques, including LinkedIn, StackOverflow, Github, academic sites, social media, our in-house database and CRM system
* Attending networking events to build out our candidate pipeline and develop effective relationships across Texas and North America
* Driving external and internal referrals
* Helping to curate technical Engineering content to engage your talent communities

The Role
High-performance data storage systems underpin all facets of the Research platform and HPC estate here, as such, they're vital to what we do and our success.
As the HPC Storage Engineering Manager you will take ownership of the strategic roadmap for our storage platforms, as well as their design and delivery. You will focus on continuous optimizations and performance enhancements of these platforms as research demands change.
We are looking for a highly experienced technical manager who can drive engineering across the existing Petabyte-scale storage estate, while ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to Research and Trading platforms.
You will lead the significant scaling of our storage platforms and help solve some of the data gravity and global replication challenges this brings with it.

CPM operates within our hybrid cloud management function, alongside:

Within this function, our Infrastructure Engineering teams manage a complex, always-on on-premises cloud platform spanning multiple time zones. The role
The Network and Security Platform Management team is responsible for G-Research's global network, covering office, data center and co-location. As such, it has a major impact on the optimization of our company performance.
Within the team there is a strong "Infrastructure as Code" philosophy and commitment to introducing the next generation of applications and distributed platforms to the business.
Alongside core monitoring and support tasks, the team plays a critical role in many high-profile company projects, with team members responsible for delivering technical designs that are developed by the Network and Security Engineering team across the estate.
As a Network and Security Platform Engineer, you will be involved in day-to-day support, predictive analysis and troubleshooting the network infrastructure.
The role also requires close interaction with Infrastructure, Datacenter and other Operations teams, giving broad exposure to a variety of enterprise products and technologies.
