We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to lead the Coinbase Card team within the Consumer Product Group. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the Coinbase Card product from card management to transaction processing. This Coinbase Card allows crypto investors to earn crypto rewards through their daily spending and provide a seamless way to spend crypto currency globally.
What you'll be doing (ie. job duties):
Build and manage full-stack engineering teams, to guide the development of features, services, and infrastructure across both web and mobile.
Coach your direct reports to have a positive impact on the organization and support their career growth.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to translate our vision into a tangible roadmap on a quarterly basis. Break down complex projects into smaller pieces and lead the iterative design and implementation process.
Be a thoughtful technical voice within the team, aiding in diligent architectural decisions and fostering a culture of high-quality code and engineering processes. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure successful delivery and operation of multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
You have experience with Card products and built or worked on such a product at scale.

Job Purpose
Manage and Lead Assembly Systems Group which contains the Global Automated Line Control (GALC), Line End Tester (LET) and Torque Groups in order to achieve and improve the impact these groups have on plant's Safety Quality Cost Delivery Morale Environment (SQCDME) metrics.
Key Accountabilities
Systems Group Lead - Monitor GALC, LET, and Torque Group SQCDME impact and report daily trigger items to Department and Plant management. Oversee countermeasure implementations for each root cause.

Budget Management - Maintain team budget for expense. Set and maintain annual overtime budget for Systems staff. Fill open positions and stay within budget set by Department Leadership. Oversee Capital Investment projects driven by Systems Group. Ensuring projects stay on schedule and serve the intended purpose. Budget responsibilities include formulating requests, tracking expenditures, and adjusting budgets to address business needs.

Strategic Planning:
Identify opportunities for evolving our site experience based on user behavior data, business strategy, competitive analysis, and emerging trends in the search landscape and health information space.
Partner with SEO, product marketing, editorial and lifecycle marketing teams to create product proposals for new site experiences (i.e. Article templates, Homepage, Site Nav), defining the scope, approach, and goals.
Develop a prioritization framework and roadmap to increase organic traffic and site engagement
Product delivery:
Collaborate with product designers and developers to deliver on the roadmap, developing and documenting requirements and driving efficient product delivery.
Lead experimentation and testing to assess and improve search rankings and site engagement.
Ensure products are mobile-first, accessible, and optimized for search engines.
Collaborate with SEO experts and engineering teams to implement technical SEO best practices, including site schema, architecture, and page speed optimizations
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Model and forecast expected product performance to inform prioritization.

Monitor KPIs such as sessions, time on page, return visitor rate, and conversion rates,
