JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Warehouse and Logistics Associate works in the organization and maintenance of Fountain Electric's Charlotte division warehouse, office, and Charlotte area construction sites. The position is based in Charlotte, NC and will require regular daily assignments at our Charlotte office and frequent assignments at construction sites within the division. Specific tasks are determined by the Company Facilities Manager in conjunction with the HQ Warehouse Manager, and Project managers. Duties include but are not limited to: • Organization of parts and materials • Organization of tools and equipment • Management of shipping and receiving • Custodial duties at each facility • Assisting in filling “material request” orders from field sites • General warehousing duties SCHEDULE: This position will require the employee to work a consistent schedule beginning each weekday (M-F) at 7 am and completing each shift at 3:30 pm. There is a lunch break period of 30 minutes per shift. There will be occasional extended hours requirements per demand on the warehouse and facilities departments. Verify vendor pricing accuracy and address discrepancies. Material Sourcing & Vendor Coordination: Source specialty materials and out-of-stock items for warehouse and mechanics. Compare vendor quotes and negotiate pricing when necessary. Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve order issues Education/Training/Experience Experience: 2 years in purchasing or procurement (construction or similar industry preferred). Software Proficiency: KOJO, Sage, Procore, Teams, and Excel. Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify vendor pricing, cost codes, and documentation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Warehouse and Logistics Associate works in the organization and maintenance of Fountain Electric's Charlotte division warehouse, office, and Charlotte area construction sites. The position is based in Charlotte, NC and will require regular daily assignments at our Charlotte office and frequent assignments at construction sites within the division. Specific tasks are determined by the Company Facilities Manager in conjunction with the HQ Warehouse Manager, and Project managers. Duties include but are not limited to: • Organization of parts and materials • Organization of tools and equipment • Management of shipping and receiving • Custodial duties at each facility • Assisting in filling “material request” orders from field sites • General warehousing duties SCHEDULE: This position will require the employee to work a consistent schedule beginning each weekday (M-F) at 7 am and completing each shift at 3:30 pm.
