* Developing and supporting Automated Inspection Systems
* Leading Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Factory of the Future projects in the plant
* Implement SQL queries and program code to improve operational efficiencies
* Determining data that is needed to resolve complex problems for 3M's customers
* Supporting the plant through a data drive approach to problem solving and leveraging the DMIAC methodology
* Creating a systems framework that will move the plant toward our SCADA future state
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
* Eight (8) years' experience in in a private, public, government, or military environment in one or more of the following areas: Computer Security Systems, Ethernet Networking, SQL databases, C#, Java, C++ environments, Automated Inspection Systems
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
* Two or more years of experience with automated inspection systems
* Experience integrating SCADA in a manufacturing environment
* Experience working with AVEVA Archestra, InSql, and Wonderware InTouch HMI Application
* Experience in Process Instrumentation & Controls Systems (PI&CS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programing
* Familiarity with industrial equipment control systems
