Seat Delivery Logistics Technician are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance. The Seat Delivery Logistics Technician prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support, and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped. It is the Seat Delivery Logistics Technician's duty to develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment. Perform inspection on storage facility, supervise material handling equipment (MHE) (e.g. forklifts, tractors) preventive maintenance program and MHE usage, prepare warehouse planograph, compute warehouse net storage space area, monitor the warehouse space control system, analyze and determine MHE requirements, and maintain secure storage of hardware and software. Maintain computer-based warehouse applications and mainframe locator systems. Maintain records of sub custody principal end items, conduct inventories, monitor shelf life items, input data entry transactions, and retrieval of historical records. Maintain hand-held optical character recognition scanners, devices, and multimedia retrieval systems. Supervise the following procedures: location survey, location addition, location consolidation, embarkation, warehouse security, and care in storage. Supervise the following operations: stage material, inventory, receiving, shipping, warehouse safety program, and storage. Review and update materials and equipment delivery and receipt processes and prepare Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR). Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) warehouse operations. Must possess license to operate MHE, operate bulk and small parts conveyer systems used in warehousing operations, and have a current 6k forklift license. Location: Plant 37 is located in Hanover, PA. The Plant manufactures 2-piece and 3-piece steel cans for the food industry, working both continuous and conventional shifts. There are approximately 85 employees at the Hanover location. The Plant is located on Route 194 in York County and is in close proximity to Gettysburg PA, York PA and the Maryland border. Position overview: The Palletizer Operator works closely with Supervision and Quality to ensure optimum levels in Quality Inspections, Package identification, and Final packaging. 4/4 schedule 5pm-5am Duties And Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the palletizer operator responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following: Understand and follow verbal instructions to completion of assigned tasks Responsibility of maintaining the palletizer operation of the food can package process with a focus on optimizing Safety, Quality, Productivity and Spoilage Responsible for the operations of one or more machines or equipment for the production of 2 piece or 3 piece steel cans Ability to safely operate, identify basic mechanical problems, and the maintaining of process equipment Communicates all pertinent information between management, co-workers, and between shifts on changes to equipment, production problems or any other related information Assists and trains and/or coaching of all new palletizer operators as needed or required Applies skills, methods to improve plant production Responsible in following SOP's, Plant Rules, 6S Housekeeping, maintaining equipment and modifications of existing production standards to achieve optimal efficiencies Enter information into a computer to generate labels for the pallets Perform visual quality checks as required, record accurate quality records and other documentations as required Complete and/or administer necessary documentation such as monthly SAFE cards, accident/near miss/hazard reporting, and data process control input Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
