What you'll do:
Apply FG labels, scan into inventory, and move finished goods from machine location to next destination
Audit inventory in production locations, validating product physical and transactional locations match, as reflected in the MRP system
Utilize Tablets to print labels with accurate pallet quantities based on the work order quantity required per pallet
Audit the accuracy of Item # on labels with the product it is applied to for match verification
Utilize RF Scan Guns for all transactional processes including disposition to inventory, move location, and manual IN transactions
Maintain Wrapper stretch-wrap refill quantities, cleanliness on and around the wrapper / conveyors, and troubleshoot the Wrapper during malfunctions
Perform minor automatic wrapper troubleshooting and report major malfunctions to maintenance
Deliver work order material, components and packaging items to machine promptly
Return work order material, components and packaging items to staging and return locations as defined
Conduct banding, slip sheet, and dust cover applications when required by work order
Maintain 5S standard locations throughout the facility and follow all standard processes relevant to the position
Successfully complete OSHA required certifications, recertifications, and Operator Inspection Checklists
Conduct safe and OSHA compliant lift operation, exercising particular caution in production areas and intersections

So, as well as operating the forklift, this person will have to get on and off the lift and move boxes from the inventory racks as well.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Bindery Department Lead will print out a report showing the jobs that need to have the yearbook covers pulled from the warehouse and unboxed.

Fan through the covers for quality issues (specific guidance will be given to address quality issues).

Job Description

* Conduct daily pre-trip safety inspections before beginning work for the day
* Make minor adjustment and/or request repairs in writing to the mechanic or supervisor
* Safely load, unload, rearrange, and maneuver Forklift/Loader with 18 foot forks throughout the auction lot
* Read stock numbers on the computer screen and verify the stock number and vehicle information directly from vehicle before loading onto forks
* Move vehicles to inventory staging, sale stalls, or storage as determined by lot location paperwork or computer screens
* Operates tow truck, service vehicle, gas truck and forklift on the auction lot and in different locations as needed.
* Move vehicles into the garage or other sheltered areas for insurance inspections, vehicle repairs, or as requested by the supervisor
* Load vehicles on transports or fleet trucks for transportation off of the lot
Minimum Requirements:
* High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
* OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years' experience in a related field
