Responsibilities
As directed, perform all job functions within the warehouse including loading/unloading trailers, moving pallets of product, palletizing product, picking orders and completing documentation.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat/clean and complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Manage product inventory and follow first in-first out shipping and rotation principles.
Complete shipping, receiving and inspection documents neatly and accurately.
Operate equipment for loading and unloading. This includes operating an end loader, switching engine, fork lift, and skid loader.
Conduct truck and railcar inspections prior to loading with product.
Perform basic preventative maintenance and assist maintenance techs as needed.
Follow all plant and food safety rules and procedures.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
Knowledge of Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Warehouse Operations
Must meet minimum age requirement
Additional Qualifications
Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification
Ability to perform math related to order counts and inventory management
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
High School diploma or GED preferred
Prior warehouse experience preferred

PCs for People is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate to assist with the collecting and processing of donated computer equipment from our clients. Job Responsibilities:
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Loads and unloads trailers
• Opens and close dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Pulling of manual dock chain
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Complete daily logs
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved,
gathered, or distributed
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production
workers or assembly line
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or
shipping department
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Uses computer to enter records
• Prepares parcels for mailing
• Maintains inventory records
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several
locations for shipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required

What you will be doing:

We sell topsoil, bark, and aggregate products to residential and commercial companies. We are looking for individuals who are exceptionally driven with strong character, and an eagerness to join our team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete transactions through QuickBooks Point of Sale;
- Reconciliation of till;
- Answer phones;
- Schedule homeowner deliveries;
- Load landscape material into customer vehicles and trailers with small loader/backhoe;
- Assist with general retail yard maintenance;
- Interact with customers;
- Retail sales of landscape products;
- Complete product/tipping tickets for all imported and/or exported materials;
- Assist with daily company paperwork;
- Direct commercial/residential vehicles to appropriate areas for off-loading of materials.
Required Skills:
- Ability to operate computers with basic knowledge of Microsoft products and email;
- Ability of lift 25 pounds or more;
- Must keep an organized and professional appearance at all times;
