Role Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks, packaging and unpackaging of materials, assist in stocking and pulling parts from storage, and all other functions associated with shipping and receiving, all while providing exemplary service to internal and external customers. Conduct inspections and provide damaged goods with a damage identification, as needed
Accurately record materials received on the appropriate purchase orders and distribute copies to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure system (ERP) receipt of materials within 24 hours.
Verify the accuracy of outbound shipments.
Properly package out-bound shipments to ensure that the contents arrive at their destination in undamaged condition.
Properly handle all document filing and archiving requirements.
Follows all warehouse processes when performing work, while maintaining good housekeeping in all assigned work areas.
Abides by all Flowserve safety requirements.
Basis computer skills, including effectively navigating Microsoft Office.
Able to work occasional overtime including weekends and evenings.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk many steps throughout the day, kneel, twist, and bend.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally buddy lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities
* Operate a fork lift/clamp truck to remove loads of finished product from any of several finished goods conveyors and coordinate the efforts of others on assigned crew.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Salty Packaging Machine Operator, under general supervision, is responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of packaging machinery while maintaining continuous flow of product to the packaging lines. Responsibilities include making minor adjustments to the machinery to achieve the correct product, troubleshooting, maintenance of machinery, and record keeping.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains shift documentation (i.e., Metal Detector and Batch Order Verifications)
• Reads production schedule and plans accordingly.
• Reads and interprets schedule in MicroStrategy.
• Able to print labels on different printers, choosing correct program for each printer; move eye and clean printers.
• Perform nitrogen testing.
• Efficiently maintains the operation of packaging machinery by monitoring codes, dates, and prices.
• Maintains an adequate supply of roll stock and ensures all packaging materials are available for each machine.
• Set up and write new programs for bag makers.
• Writes and/or edits machine micro logic as needed to maintain an efficient and low waste operation.
• Creating and modifying code dates.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment. Sets up and makes minor scale repairs and adjustments.
• Perform span calibration and/or adjustments on scales, adjust scales linkages so it opens and shuts correctly, make minor adjustments to formers.
• Efficiently operates packaging equipment which may include case sealers and robot cells. This includes but is not limited to machine setups, troubleshooting, changeovers, proper running, procedural adjustments, sanitation cleanup, preventative maintenance, and shutdown.
• Properly plans ahead for machine changeovers and efficiently changing from one product item to another.
• Monitors and adjusts each machine to ensure proper cut off film and bags have proper end seals and back seals as required.
• Ensures machines are running at standard speeds.
• Monitors product appearance and adheres to weight control program.
• Performs bag weight checks every 20 minutes and inspects for quality issues.
• Able to run bagger, scales, counting conveyor, seal checker, weight check, case packers, and other auxiliary equipment as needed.
• Identifies and resolves packaged product quality issues.
• Properly accounts for product run off and handles this product; accordingly, sorts through and reworks all good product
• Keeps machines and work areas clean, wipes packaging machines off and blows down area when required to do so.
• Immediately reports any maintenance problems to appropriate technician and/or supervisor.
• Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.
• Stores supplies in designated areas.
• Keeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstruction; removes trash from work area floor.
• Follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports issues with equipment; reports all job-related injuries to supervision.
• May provide leadership and direction to packers.
• May be qualified to perform as Back-up Packaging Coordinator, or other technical/skilled position.
• If applicable, may monitor and replenish seasoning on overhead to ensure proper seasoning coverage on product.
• Mandatory overtime may be required.
• May perform other duties as required.

POSITION SUMMARY
The duties of the Productions Machine Operator include but are not limited to operating high-speed machines, handling of sharps blades, changing of blades, cleaning machines on product change over.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Setting up machines with proper blades for specific cuts and product.
Feed product
Clean machines.
Change blades.
Grease machines
Comply with attached critical settings on machine settings
Responsible for the proper product cut, setting up/cleaning machine.
Keeping production supplies
Proper handling/storage of blades
Follows all safety policies/procedure, particularly lock out/tag out procedures.
Follows attendance policy and other company policies/procedures.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
This position requires 1 year experience with a vertical form fill bagging machine. This position requires 1-3 years of general work experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High school Diploma or GED preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
Previous experience within highspeed industrial environment preferred.
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment is necessary.
Knowledge of industrial technology a plus.
Understanding of the English language
Need basic math skills and reading comprehension.
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Frequent sitting, using hands for firm grasping and use of feet for repetitive motion in operation of power equipment.
Frequently lifting, carrying 5 pounds to 50 pounds
Occasionally to frequently walking, standing, kneeling, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level.
Occasionally repetitive hand motion and use of cutting utensils such as knives, peelers.
Constant exposure to chemicals such as chlorine, etc.
Exposure to product fumes such as onions, peppers, etc.
Works overtime as required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are seeking experienced and driven Curb Machine Operators for our growing concrete business based in Dillsburg, PA. This individual should have a minimum of two years; relevant operating experience. Work is primarily in Central PA and surrounding areas.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Safely operates and maintains the curb machine
Performs pre-operations safety inspections
Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition
Reads and understands blueprints and cut sheets
Sets and checks grades; responsible for setup of string line
Ability to take direction from site foreman to complete daily tasks and meet project goals for job site
Travels from job site to job site when/as needed
Works closely with other crew members; in a fast-paced environment
Performs other labor duties as assigned by foreman or project manager
Follows all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age
Possesses a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach assigned job sites
2-3+ years of relevant operating experience; preferably in concrete work
Must be able to set and check grades
Must be able to read blueprints and cut sheets
Must have knowledge of vibrator placement, sensor placement and mold placement
Must have knowledge of string line set up
Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines
Experience with hand tools associated with the trade
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
