Responsibilities/ Accountabilities * Inspect carriers/trailers of inbound and outbound shipments. * Escorts drivers always when in the facility. * Receives and unloads freight, checks for damaged goods, verifies items and quantities received with BOL, Packing List, PO, etc. * Moves materials as required for sampling, inspection, status label changes, etc. * Move materials from Quarantine to Released or Rejected areas as directed by Warehouse Management. * Perform dispensing activities for Packaging and Raw materials. * Picks materials from Released inventory following GMP rules as required per production schedule, pick list, or production record requirement. * Make the necessary documentation entries. * Deliver materials to specified locations in the warehouse. * Load outbound freight as specified in BOLâs after confirming material or production descriptions, lot numbers, count and quantities. * Perform inventory counts as required. * Maintains assigned areas in a clean and orderly state. Performs minor and spot cleaning as required. * Verifies documentation and reports for accuracy. * Complies will all aspects of quality management system, cGMP policies, documentation and record keeping in accordance with industry and FDA standards and Safety and sanitation regulations. * Other duties assigned as required by Warehouse Management. Education Qualifications * High School Diploma (or equivalent experience) Experience * Two (2) to five (5) years minimum of direct work experience in warehousing. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in pharmaceutical warehousing. * Forklift experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities: * The unlocking of the site compound and allowing access to secure plots if required by sub-contractors. * To ensure that the forklift is effectively maintained by regular inspections, recorded on a weekly basis. * To be responsible for the unloading of materials and to ensure their safe and proper storage. * To be responsible for the distribution and loading of materials for sub-contractors using agreed destination routes, ensuring materials are not damaged in transit. * To be responsible for maintaining high levels of site presentation at all times. * To be available for the cleaning of completed plots during forklift low demand periods. * During high demand periods to ensure the distribution of materials is prioritised correctly. * To actively look for ways to help Crest and its subcontractors reduce the amount of materials that are wasted and disposed of in skips. To get ideas from subcontractors and the Crest site team and work together to try new ways of working which reduce wastage. * To ensure waste management considerations are evenly distributed into tipping skips to cover sub-contractor demands and to provide certain trades with tipping skips to allow waste segregation i.e. bricklayer and roof tiler and that a designated waste management area is adequately secured using mesh fencing. * To ensure that the tipping skips provided for sub-contractors are being filled with the correct material to aid segregation. * To ensure that hardcore materials are stock-piled, preferably for re-use or prior to bulk disposal. * To comply with the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures and ensure that all work on site is carried out in accordance with its recommendations. Responsible for providing support to the shipping department in processing parts for delivery to suppliers and customers of the company. · Pull, pack and organize product for delivery from and receipt into the warehouse. · Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices. · Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas. · Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels. · Clean and maintain supplies, tools and equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. · Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. · Drive the company truck and/or van to make pick-ups and deliveries as required. · Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods. · Operate Pallet Jack and forklift as required. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements High school education or equivalent and 0-1 years of experience on the job. Must have a valid US driver's license with Class E certification. Driving experience preferred.
