Summary

Roles and Responsibilities
Manually stack tires into or onto containers, trailers or pallets.
Utilize proper tire stacking procedures to ensure tires are stacked in a safe, secure and stable manner.
Properly sort tires before loading or unloading per paperwork specifications.
Verify correct and suitable trailers are used per paperwork specifications.
Accurately provide tire counts by correctly filling out proper paperwork.
Execute assigned unload/loading production schedule as assigned by supervisor/site management.
Adheres to all corporate and site specific policies/procedures, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards

Perform various shipping and receiving functions: load and unload trucks, check and sort product of varying sizes and wights by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying. Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk, bend and lift (up to 60 pounds).
Responsibilities
* Set-up and unload incoming shipments from trucks, check in mill receipts.
* Segregate and sort receipts by style and color.
* Breakdown and repack boxes.
* Scan shipping labels and check weights.
* Assist in preparing truck orders for shipment; shrink wrap pallets as needed.
* Perform housekeeping duties.
* Load UPS trailers with customer orders that have been packaged and forwarded to the truck via conveyor, conforming to standards and maximizing space.
* Follow safety policies and regulations when moving freight or handling equipment.
* Serve as a member of the Distribution Center team, helping with other tasks as needed.

* Ability to operate manual equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks).
* Ability to operate scanner, tape machine, and in-line weight scale.
* Demonstrated flexibility with work schedule; ability to work overtime to meet business demands.
