QUALIFICAITONS:

Able to travel throughout Florida. 50% Travel expected

They are responsible for reading plans and lining-out subcontractors and crew. This position sets a well-rounded lead carpenter up for a successful transition into a superintendent role over time, while working with teams that are dedicated to the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a foreman, you'll show an aptitude for leadership, build positive relationships, and demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that the design intent and project goals are met. You'll be responsible for:
Putting work in place; this is a bags-on role, executing framing carpentry, while also lining out other crew members and sub trades
Layout
Participation in quality control for all scopes of work - self performed as well as subcontracted
Assisting in creating site documentation and as-built drawings
Serve as first point of contact for subcontractor questions
Collaborate with subcontractors to find solutions; come to superintendent with possible solutions to problems, be willing to come to the table prepared and engaged in the process
Estimating materials and time to perform work proposed

* 3+ years' experience running commercial stucco/exterior projects * Knowledge/experience with EIFS * Familiarity with heavy gauge metal framing * Must be able to read/understand blueprints and the job field kit * Must be able to coordinate with other trades and the GC in order to maintain the project schedule
* Must be able to build and maintain project labor to complete project schedule
* Must be able to layout project
* Order necessary job materials from purchasing agent
* Keep all necessary job records required by Lotspeich and the customer
* Must be able to verify quantities and hours for labor payment
* Maintain a working relationship with other foreman/superintendents of the customer and subcontractor
* Must be resourceful and self-reliant to overcome job site obstacles
* Own and drive a personal a pick-up truck (preferred)

Structural and Miscellaneous Steel company is looking for an Erection Foreman to join our growing team!
The ideal candidate should have a
minimum of 5 years or more experience in Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Erection.
The primary job function of an Erection Foreman is leading a crew to install steel columns, beams, steel girders, bar joist, composite deck, roof deck, stairs, rails and ladders.
Responsibilities:
Lead and work with a crew to ensure the safety, quality and progress of projects, while meeting both client and company's goals.
Oversee all proper AISC Bolting and AWS welding procedures to install structural members and components per the plans and specifications.
Utilize crews, cranes and equipment to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Review project plans and specifications with Management.
Quickly resolve issues, while maintaining adequate manpower and resources.
Maintain proper communication with Project Manager and Office Personnel.
Document daily inspection, site and equipment reporting.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a field foreman on structural erection projects.
Ability to read and understand contract drawings, erection drawings and fabrication drawings.
Ability to implement company safety and quality programs
