Manage crews ranging in size from 2-20 sometimes at multiple job-sites. Tower Crew - Foreman The Tower Crew Foreman is responsible for the safety of personnel performing work on telecom towers, conducting site audits, and helping crews upgrade existing hardware. This is a working position, and the foreman is required to climb communication towers, radio towers, and other structures working at heights to provide access to areas that would otherwise be inaccessible. The foreman also ensures that technicians carry out work in accordance with company and legal standards. This position must comply with all relevant safety regulations and standards. Perform coax, fiber, line, and hybrid cable installations, connector installation, sweep and test assisting, weatherproofing, color-coding, labeling, etc. Connect coax feedlines and jumpers per piping diagrams and support and fasten adequately for a quality, lasting installation. Complete grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cadwelding as required, etc. Assist with overall tasks required to build and install a site per customer specs, complete daily Jobsite Hazard Assessment (JHA) forms, assist with overall crew work, maintenance of vehicles and equipment, etc. Ensure a high level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld and mentor less experienced crew members in safety awareness. Must be able to lead safety meetings when required. Ability to photograph work-related tasks as needed for close-out packages. Assist in the coordination, preparation, and cleaning of job sites. Help lead the efforts in the assembly of the monopole, self-support guyed towers and rooftops. Assist in the antenna installation of microwave parabolic 1 to 15ft, VHF, UHF, cellular and FM broadcast antennas is required. Lead the transmission line and installation. Work with crew to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications Ensure safety procedures and PPE is in place and followed at all times by you and your team You and your tema will be responsible for installing state of the art products to customers by exceeding the customer's expectations. Ensure highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld Installing and upgrading antennas Electronic testing of equipment to inspect the tower's operation Identifying problems and performing maintenance of network equipment Installation and servicing of wireless equipment in the field Instruct and follow of all OSHA and Company Fall Safety procedures Safely working in ALL environments Show up on time every day, ready to rock and roll Basic use of hand tools and equipment Able to identify hazards associated with the construction industry Work closely with your team and ensure they undersatdn and follow instructions What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Valid Driver's License Additional qualifications Must have experince with VZW. Minimum of 1 year prior Foreman experience in the wireless, cell tower industry. Ability to travel - required Ability to work weekends as needed Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift. Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc. in the accomplishments of North Sky's goals Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: climb, stoop, push, pull, bend, reach, lift , stand Occasionally: sit Candidate must be able to climb towers at heights of up to 300" or more.
