Summary/Objective:
In this position, you will be tasked to lead, coordinate and manage the construction and installation of equipment in accordance with federal, state and company policies and regulations. Ability to Operator Heavy Equipment (backhoe, trackhoe, skid steer) a plus
Communicate with Project Managers, subcontractors, local and state inspectors and vendors
Out of town travel from time to time
Field construction experience running a crew and working with sub-contractors

Document daily activities, material/parts used, testing, inspections and visitors. Create and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain a timely flow and complete projects on time and on budget.

Job Qualifications:
Five (5) years of experience as a journeyman electrician, and preferably at least three (3) years as a supervisor in the electrical field.
The appropriate candidate will be able to manage 5-7 subordinates.
Able to interpret and implement blueprint specifications.
Should have mechanical aptitude.
Must understand and perform required math functions.
Should possess a North Carolina State Journeyman License.
Must Possess a valid driver's license or the ability to transport to and from assigned job sites.
Knowledgeable of National Electric Code and comply with State and local building codes during the installation of electrical systems.

Utility Foreman (Water & Sewer) Location: Shelby, NC

is looking for Utility Foremen to join our team and oversee a water, sewer, and storm crew installing utilities in the Piedmont and Western NC/SC area (typically 1-1.5 hr. radius of Shelby, NC). The Utility Foreman must collaborate closely with our Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure that our job sites are provided with fully operating utilities for water and sewer, continuously monitor and optimize cost efficiency, produce comprehensive project documentation, and to conduct inspections of construction and/or modification of infrastructure for water and sewer facilities in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented, has communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with Experience in municipal water, sanitary sewer, and construction industry experience. Requirements:
-5 years of experience of equipment operation on, excavators, loaders, skidsteers, etc. -Capable of understanding, reading, shooting, and converting grade measurements. -Capable of Installing complete water, sewer and storm drain systems from start to finish.
-Hold a valid drivers license.
-Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
-Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish.
- Effectively Lead a crew to achieve and maintain company goals and expectations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with engineers, and inspectors to resolve any issues or conflicts

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Establishing daily/weekly work plans and properly communicating them to the crew(s)
* Fill out or mentor the crew(s) to fill out a detailed PTP that properly identifies hazards and mindsets that could present risks and impacts to the team
* Coordinate with the Supervisor to acquire proper resources (equipment, manpower, materials, tools, subs, etc.) responsible to manage these resources in an efficient /effective manner.
* Enter time, fill out daily reports, track/enter units and evaluate actual production to target goals; responsible to ensure production goals are met or improved.

* Mentors the team for growth and improvement and encourages good morale
* Able to train the crews on best practices and core work practices
