* Supervises field operations for a Waste Water Treatment project * supervise and coordinate activities of grading crew and may also engage in the trade work of the employees being supervised * Read, understand, interpret and enforce safety policies and practices. * Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure. * Lays out floor-plan/worksite as needed. * Inspects work performed by subordinates to ensure conformance with specifications. * Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. * Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. * Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product to increase efficiency of work crew. * Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials. * Maintain a general knowledge of equipment used on the job including basic understanding of equipment limits and designed purposes. * Ability to read and understand a two-week construction schedule. * A minimum of 5 years of supervising / crew leadership experience * A minimum of 5 year (overall) of Concrete Carpentry/Finish work experience * Work Safely * Be able to carry 70 lbs. or more - frequent cross body movements such as bending, climbing, twisting, balancing, stooping, etc. * High School diploma/GED preferred. * Flexible availability to include overtime and weekends. What You'll Do The Foreman will plan, direct, and coordinate daily related projects under construction, pre- or post-construction phases. Will be responsible for scheduling all resources to complete projects under construction successfully.
