You will lead the site team to successfully complete plant commissioning, start up, operations, and maintenance scope. 60% of your work scope will be administrative with 40% in the field. This position will manage the execution of the customer contract from site mobilization through contract close out including reporting, receivables, change order and claim negotiation, issue resolution, and supplier management. You'll communicate project goals, deliverables, strategies, risks, and opportunities as required internally.

The Fluid Pump Field Foreman is responsible for safe efficient operation and maintenance of all DWS leased or owned fluid pumping equipment. This includes but is not limited to rig up/down, operation of the pump, and basic maintenance of DWS owned or leased pumping equipment. Ideal applicants will be local to the Midland/Odessa area, or willing to relocate during the term of employment.
Duties
Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures as it pertains to pump operation, risk assessment and contingency planning.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve maintenance procedures for all equipment assigned to the pumping division. Including but not limited to preventive maintenance, daily/weekly inspections, equipment certifications DOT and general maintenance.
Mentor and train pump operators in safe/efficient operation of equipment. Implement competency-based training objectives with DWS' training department.
Take ownership of DWS equipment. Ensuring all equipment is maintained and stored in an acceptable manner. Work in conjunction with supply chain to establish and maintain adequate critical spare mins/maxes.
Maintain equipment appropriately. Able to check/maintain appropriate fluid levels, filter systems and lubrication.
Ability to operate a forklift and aerial lift in an effective and safe manner.
Maintain the ability and knowledge to provide onsite support services including acting as pump operator when necessary.
Other duties as assigned by management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The shop foreman is responsible for planning, scheduling, performing, directing, and evaluating the repair and servicing of equipment. This individual has significant control of maintenance equipment and is in frequent contact with company employees that use this equipment. Working with the service manger. Responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the Service department. Oversees the work of the mechanics. Able to make proper diagnosis of all components and recommended repairs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Diagnostic ability of all components of the truck.
Help in writing up repair orders and communicating with the drivers and owners in order to determine problems and solutions to their truck repair needs.
Schedules an assigns jobs ad work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge. This should be accomplished in a manner to eliminate time lost between jobs.
Inspect and advise the mechanics on work as it progresses.
Keep track of each customer job and be able to advise the customer as to time of completion, cost of repairs, additional repairs, etc.
Road test and dyno test trucks in order not only to diagnose problems, but also to determine if repairs are complete.
See that the buildings, grounds, and work areas are kept clean and neatly arranged. See that all company tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Help in determining the parts to be replaced and follow through with the mechanics and Parts Department to be sure of parts availability.
Help in completing repair orders by getting the mechanics write up of the repairs, seeing that parts are billed correctly, and all needed lines are added to the ticket as it progresses. Be sure each repair is coded correctly.
Must be familiar with warranty of all parts of the truck and able to determine if a repair is warrantable.
Must be at work at least thirty minutes prior to time for the mechanics in order to analyze the work schedule.
Must be willing to work additional hours as the workload and business requires and perform other duties or functions as so directed by management.
Must help to insure safe working conditions for all employees.
Educational Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma required.
Work Experience:
Minimum four years as a mechanic and at least 2 years as a shop foreman or lead mechanic.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Should be able to read computer generated reports, office reports, invoices, etc. Also it is required to operate computer terminals.
Special Skills:
Must possess and use good interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner. Must also have and maintain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
Physical Demands:

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is primarily an office position where work is normally performed in a climate-controlled environment. Travel to other office and field locations may periodically be required. When field travel occurs, the incumbent may be exposed to conditions of extreme heat/cold, fumes and gases. The noise level is moderate to loud and includes sounds of construction, equipment operations, and trucks and like equipment. Job hazards include working in normal light and heavy construction activities and working around pressured gas, oil, water, electricity, and waste lines and under all weather conditions. The OHE Foreman leads the crew to complete daily tasks related to the placement of overhead electrical cables to meet customer needs, ensuring crew safety, keeping track of employee hours, completing daily & weekly safety briefings/inspections, and calls in project utility locations.
