The Utility Foreman coordinates activities of work crew engaged in the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of piping and equipment. Installs, maintains and repairs of a variety of piping and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishment, using hoists, lift trucks, hand-tools, and power tools: Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. (5-10 Team Members). * Coordinate with owner field representatives. * Ensures each bucket completes an activity plan at each location and reviews for accuracy and completeness. * Gives direction throughout the day to the buckets - on-site at all times with buckets. * Primary Safety contact on-site when GF is not onsite. * Leads by example and ensures crew is following all safety and company standards & procedures. * Adhere to safety practices and procedures for both Cianbro and the client as required, such as grounding and rubber glove & sleeve use. * Replace damaged poles, attach cross arms, insulators, and auxiliary equipment as required. * Conductor installation, knowledge of pulling equipment, and make-ready work as required. * Safely install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems, including the conductor, cables, sagging, clipping, dead-end terminations, and associated equipment. * Willing to assist in the training and direction of apprentices. * Safely operate various types of distribution equipment i.e. digger derrick, bucket trucks, wire pulling equipment.
