Currently looking for help in a couple different areas on our crews: Foreman - Someone with build experience that can quickly be a difference maker, by leading a crew of 2-3 guys and completing custom deck and patio cover builds efficiently and at a high quality standard Service Tech - Someone who is really good at quick decisions, and creative thinking to run a service truck. Mainly working solo or with 1 helper doing smaller jobs, service calls (Gate replacements, fixing railings, fence panel fell over, etc.) Deck Craftsman - to work on the deck and patio cover projects, helping the crew deliver an amazing experience for the client and finishing jobs on budget! Delegation of responsibilities to subordinates to ensure maximum efficiency on site. Preparation of critical paths, forecast and schedule upcoming needs of: materials, labor, equipment to maintain project durations. Operation of heavy equipment as necessary (Excavators, Skid Steer, Forklift). Plant identification and layout per plans or instructions. Layout, organization and quality control of irrigation installation. Supervisory Responsibilities Direct supervision of two or more (2-3 man) crews. Training, planning, assigning and directing work. Problem resolution. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities Conduct vehicle and equipment training as needed for new and existing employees, including but not limited to proper backing techniques for trailers; safe usage, loading/unloading trailers and small and large equipment usage. Observe and evaluate crew leader and laborer performance, to assist Enhancement Supervisor during performance evaluations. Facilitate conflict resolution between employees. Provide translation for employees as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education High school diploma, GED or at least 5 years related work experience. Language Skills Ability to read, write and comprehend English. Ability to speak effectively before employees and have basic interaction with customers. Bi-lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, including ability to read, interpret and translate documents and verbal presentations. Mathematical Skills Basic math-for cubic yards, square feet and basic geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format Ability to read landscape plans, irrigation plans, grading plans and municipal plans.
