Roles and Responsibility Perform general maintenance duties such as cleaning and fixing lawns Install sod and repair sprinklers as needed Safely cut grounds using hand, power, or riding mower for trimming edges around walkways, flower beds, and walls Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance Be willing to train and enhance knowledge in assigned duties Ensure grounds are free of weeds and dead plants Oversee Crews in regard to production and safety Other duties as assigned Success Factors Must be able to safely operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance Experience with operating excavators/bulldozers Excellent organizational skills Working knowledge of horticulture Ability to lift 50 pounds Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Experience and Education: High school diploma or equivalent desired Experience working with underground utilities desired CDL A is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver's License is required within two weeks of employment. Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
