Summary of Duties:
Ensures and promotes a safe work environment by identifying, eliminating, and managing safety hazards on the jobsite.
Populate the two-week lookahead and communicate assignment progress to the crew and superintendent, ensuring deadlines are met.
Holds daily crew meetings to delegate individual responsibilities and ensure safe, high-quality, cost-effective production.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
5+ years of construction experience; including experience with concrete, carpentry, steel and steel erection, and other relevant construction experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with each of these specialties.
Proven ability to lead others, supervisory experience desired.
Must be able to get to and from jobsites.
Minimum tool requirement: 16oz or larger hammer, crescent adjustable wrench, screwdriver (6-1 type), tape measure, speed square, retractable utility knife, chalk box, lineman or rebar pliers.
Travel: Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected; jobsites are located throughout central Iowa and across the state.

JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Landscape Foreman is to oversee designated landscape projects. Coordinate and manage team members along with their schedules. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Place orders for materials needed for projects. Make sure material deliveries are set to arrive as they are needed on the jobsite. For any special order materials, make sure that you have scheduled delivery on a timeline that allows the crew to continue a consistent pace of work.
Contact and line up subcontractors for projects. Ensure subcontractors are scheduled to start and finish their portion of the work in sequence with what Weller Brothers is doing on that jobsite to maximize efficiency.
Take time to review all plans with team members making sure they are aware of what their assignments are if you are going to be absent from a jobsite.
Set daily and weekly goals for all team members on the jobsite.
