This includes knowledge and examination of main mine fans, production hoists and service hoists for both underground and surface locations for these critical infrastructure facilities. Job Qualifications: Candidates for this position must have a maintenance background. Must be capable of reading electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical prints for assembly and troubleshooting purposes. MSHA electrical certification preferred underground and surface. Welding and fabrication skills are preferred. Must have current Alabama state hoisting certification or the ability to obtain within 3 months of starting position. Underground or surface mine foreman certifications are required.
