We are seeking an experienced Roof Coating Supervisor to lead and manage a team of roofers responsible for applying roof coatings on commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of roof coating projects, ensuring theyare completed ontime, within budget and in accordance with the highest quality standards and manufacturer warranty guidelines. This role requires strong leadership, expertise in roof coating systems, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
This position is responsible for:
Supervise and coordinate all roof coating projects, ensuring compliance with manufacturer warranty guidelines and industry best practices.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion while staying within budget.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure proper surface preparation ,application techniques, and final coating adherence.
Identify and resolve any project issues promptly to maintain quality and efficiency.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of roofers on proper roof coating preparation and application techniques.
Ensure crew members are proficient in safety procedures, equipment operation, and best practices.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team productivity and workmanship.
Enforce all safety regulations and OSHA standards to create a secure work environment.
Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or hazards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing project updates.
Work closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications and expectations are met.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including work orders, material usage, and progress reports.
Knowledge and Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in roof coating applications, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Knowledgeable in: Various roof coating systems, including acrylic, silicone, polyurethane andelastomericcoatings.
Skills:

Related activities - earth moving, equipment operation, retaining earth/water, concrete/asphalt, fencing, demolition, carpentry, roofing and painting, FRP and fabrication.
Possesses the knowledge and technical skill to perform all tasks assigned that are related to the above.
Plans, assigns, and directs work of others
Oversees, assists, and provides technical training and review for all assigned work.
Oversees and continually refines processes and procedures.
Performs safety inspections.
Stays current on governmental and industry regulations, practices and products.
All other duties as required.

Sets up and operates a variety of woodworking machines to surface, cut, and shape lumber, and to fabricate wood parts for concrete floats by performing the following duties.
