Position Summary: The Roadway Foreman will be responsible for the field planning and production of all types of roadway related construction as directed by the Superintendent. Responsibilities: Organize and plan the work with the Superintendent. Direct oversight responsibility of time sheets for labor and equipment, as well as daily reports complete with quantities worked. Review, maintain, and monitor crew's productivity and goals daily. Enforce quality control and Company safety policies on all aspects of the work. The Position - Superintendent: Airfield Systems/NAVAIDS The Superintendent role in our organization's NAVAID's division is a leadership role of vast importance to our airfield system projects, otherwise known as NAVAIDS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in underground electrical installations, duct banks, manholes and steel structures. A proper candidate will also possess a working knowledge of surveying, placing concrete, site excavations, paving, airfield lighting and FAA Navigational Aids. This leadership role involves scheduling, monitoring, and management of daily project execution, ensuring progress and performance align with goals and objectives. The Superintendent will uphold individual site safety and compliance standards. Collaboration with project managers, on-site associates, electricians and project coordinators as well as leadership officers will be standard. The ideal candidate will have solid Airfield System and/or NAVAID project experience, a passion for leadership and coordination of successful projects as well as the ability to troubleshoot and coordinate plans to implement and complete successful projects. This is a 100% travel position (within the United States), which is company paid. The typical job duration is 2-8 months. The Superintendent must have the ability to communicate project details and updates. Providing a 2 week look ahead schedule, conducting daily safety briefings, recording and reporting work hours is essential. The Superintendent will be responsible for ordering and managing material, organizing manpower and job schedules, typing reports and utilizing a laptop computer or tablet. Autodesk Construction Cloud (Build) experience is a plus.
