Job Purpose

As a Site Security Leader, you will be responsible for leading security and fire protection activities at your assigned worksite including implementation of Global Security policies and standards, oversight of contract security services and quality assurance. Position Title: Material Coordinator

General Description with Scope:
Transport direct materials, tooling, supplies and finished goods to designated areas in the facility using hand trucks, HiLo's, cranes or other material handling equipment. Load and unload trucks for the receipt and delivery of materials.
Competencies:
Knowledge in cycle counting, warehouse operations, pull systems and FIFO inventory management.
Willingness to work rotating continuous seven-day work cycle.
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
1. Operate HiLo's to the standards required by safety policies and procedures, including driving HiLo's at a safe speed, watching out for pedestrians, performing and completing routine maintenance HiLo check list on a daily basis, and reporting any damage to company property to supervisor immediately.
2. Prepare requisitions and submit to maintenance/purchasing for HiLo's requiring attention.
3. Manually, or by using hand truck, HiLo's or cranes, perform various material handling duties in the facility.
4. Manually load raw material or finished product on skid or by hand truck.
5. Load and unload trucks using HiLos or cranes.
6. Be sure that all collapsible dunnage is collapsed before stacking in designated area. Stack skids or pallets in designated areas. Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, strapping, chips and other disposable materials, and place in proper containers or designated areas. Remove all old tags off empty containers.
7. Using required tools such as hammers, wire cutters, strapping tools and crowbars to prepare material for shipment or use within the facility.
8. Replenish Raw, W.I.P., finished goods and MRO items, as assigned, to the point of use. Verify that all material is properly labeled before moving to next location.
9. Rotation of stock to ensure FIFO; taking physical inventory of material as requested.
10. Assist with cycle counting and pull system programs as directed by supervisor.
11. Hand count or weight count on any partial bins being pulled off the line due to changeover, and store by yellow railing on receiving dock for proper retagging of the material.
12. Perform general housekeeping duties; i.e., empty chip hoppers daily.
3. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education Required/Preferred:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Michigan driver's license.
Valid hi-lo license.
Experience with operating overhead cranes if assigned to hi-bay area.

Job Purpose

Objective
Delivery of high quality, robust designs of circuits for use in the development of product for automotive and adjacent markets. Co-ops will grow and develop through rotations of increasing responsibility and complexity in their assigned tasks.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Performing design activities including (but not limited to): requirements capture, specification writing, circuit design and analysis, component selection, DFMEA, reliability analysis, validation testing, test and engineering report writing and documentation.
Day-to-day coordination within a cross-functional design team including Systems and Software engineers.
Ensuring that designs are executed in accordance with internal and customer quality/process requirements.
Requirements:
Enrollment & active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science or Masters in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience in circuit design and assembly a plus
Familiar with using common electronics laboratory tools (multi meters, oscilloscopes, soldering station, wiring harness fabrication).
Confident interpersonal/communication skills
Ability to effectively operate and communicate in a multi-cultural environment
Keen to learn new skills and absorb technical input through coaching, review and self-learning
Aptitude and desire to work in a hands-on capacity when required to support vehicle testing, calibration and laboratory testing efforts

The Role:
As a Staff Systems Engineer - Low Voltage Controls SW at GM focused on current VIP architecture, you are the linchpin in steering the architectural solution context and pragmatic improvements for the Embedded Platform Systems and Infrastructure (EPSI) team within the Electric Power (EP) Agile Release Train (ART). Your seasoned expertise and passion in the low voltage energy management domain will tie the entire ART together in unison to fuel the issue mitigation design and simplification of features relating to low voltage power generation, HV/LV systems coordination, and power management, ensuring seamless integration and interaction with the hardware components within the automotive embedded domain.
What You'll Do:
Design and Evolve the Solution Context, Architectural Vision, and Runway for the Electric Power ART:
Own, understand and communicate the VIP architectural vision, solution context and pragmatic improvements, acting as an architect for the functional subsystems of the ART
Focus on issue mitigation strategies in current VIP architecture and chart a developmental and integration course for pragmatic solutions in collaboration with the Scrum Managers, Scrum Leads and SSLEs
Collaborate with internal/external teams to build the architectural runway, affected components, SW changes necessary and identify enablers
Define the solution context including supported technologies, interfaces, and APIs, current and future deployment requirements, functional and non-functional requirements
Engage in building system-level requirements and validating system performance against these requirements, ensuring validation strategies are robust, cost-effective, and efficient
Collaborate with System Engineers, Product Managers, Lead Solution Architects, Subsystem Lead Engineers and others in the functional architecture development and decomposition to subsystems

Serve as Functional Domain Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ART:
Provide technical direction and guidance to agile teams throughout all phases of ART Kanban
Collaborate with the Product Management Team to review and update backlog item definitions, develop acceptance criteria and benefit hypotheses, determine technical feasibility and scope estimates
Offer technical guidance for the area of expertise, execute Epics, help resolve/close PRTSs, share lessons learned/best practices, and capture IP/ROI's/etc.
