**What you'll do...**
+ The person in this role is expected to work closely with other stakeholders (Engineering, Product, and Business teams) with key responsibilities to:
+ Develop an in-depth understanding of the scope of these financial services and lead the development of Future State Architecture based on business capabilities.
+ Lead evaluation of design options, tools and utilities to build implementation patterns using Google Cloud services
+ Create solution architecture following Ford standards and gain alignment with stakeholders considering user experience, business processes, data models, system integration and security with emphasis on well-architected applications
+ Collaborate with program managers to plan iterations, backlogs and dependencies across all workstream to progress program at required pace.

**You'll have...**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
+ Google Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred.
+ 5+ years of relevant work experience in business and solution architecture, with deep understanding of cloud hosting concepts and implementations.
+ Experience in migrating legacy applications to Cloud platform and business adoption of these platforms
+ Knowledge of enterprise frameworks and technologies. Strong in architecture design patterns, experience with secure interoperability standards and methods, architecture tools and processes.
+ Strong understanding on DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), automated testing & deployment pipelines.
+ Good understanding of cloud security best practices and be familiar with different security tools and techniques like Identity and Access Management (IAM), Encryption, Network Security, etc.
+ Experience with banking services (deposits, direct and indirect lending) is preferred

**Work Arrangement:** This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of a GM location, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. **The Role** : People Analytics CoE is looking for a **People Analytics Solutions Consultant (Visier)** to join the People Analytics Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design, product management and enablement of data and analytics products including Visier implementation and ongoing optimization. We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our US based Enterprise Architecture team to lead the Solution Design and Architecture of Subscriptions Services Platform. In this role, you will define strategy, understand and document current state architecture, evaluate alternatives, create future state enterprise solutions, and guide the engineering teams to modernize their applications using cloud native technologies on the Google Cloud Platform. It requires a deep understanding of GCP Services, Security and Infrastructure hosting, and API development tools and technologies needed for financial products offered by Ford Credit. Hands-on experience with cloud native technologies, a strategic, progressive mindset, and the ability to collaborate to solve business challenges is a must.
**What you'll do...**
The Sr. Solutions Architect is expected to work closely with other stakeholders (Engineering and Product Teams) with key responsibilities to:
+ Develop an in-depth understanding of the current Zuora based Subscription Services Platform and lead the Future State Architecture in GCP.
+ Lead evaluation of design options, tools and utilities to build implementation patterns for Billing and Payment Services
+ Create solutions and conduct hands-on PoCs to prove out key assumptions
+ Work with Suppliers, Google Professional Services and other Consultants as required
+ Collaborate with program managers to plan iterations, backlogs and dependencies across all workstreams to progress program at required pace.
+ Provide direction to other Architects and supplier resources to guide Design / Architecture / Tool / Implementation Patterns, Troubleshooting Guidance and Remove Roadblocks for the Engineering teams
+ Drive adoption of standardized architecture, design and quality assurance approaches across all workstreams and ensure migrated solutions adheres to established standards
+ Provide advisory and technical consulting across all initiatives including product evaluations and recommendations, security, architecture assessments, integration considerations, etc.
+ Collaborate with other architects, SMEs and technical leads to establish best practices considering regulatory policy and legal compliance.
**You'll have...**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
+ Google Professional Cloud Architect / Engineer certification preferred.
+ 10+ years of relevant work experience in solution architecture and enterprise architecture, with deep understanding of cloud hosting concepts and implementations.
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in Solutions design and architecture with emphasis on well-architected solution frameworks
+ Experience in migrating legacy applications to Cloud platform and business adoption of these platforms
+ Knowledge of enterprise frameworks and technologies. Strong in architecture design patterns, experience with secure interoperability standards and methods, architecture tools and processes.
+ Strong understanding on DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), automated testing & deployment pipelines.
+ Good understanding of cloud security best practices and be familiar with different security tools and techniques like Identity and Access Management (IAM), Encryption, Network Security, etc.
+ Good understanding of microservices architecture and domain driven design
